    Called to take care of a collections. After giving information and payment, they proceeded to ask random personal questions. When I finally asked if my payment processed and what did this have to do with my payment, they abruptly stopped asking questions. The payment had already been processed and approved before asking questions. Seemed a little sketchy about the information they were asking and how it involved my payment. Going to keep an eye out on my bank account and personal information for sure.

    So now they don’t have any paperwork any proof only a phone call that they can go back to and listen to the phone call to tell them that OK yeah she paid too much. However, I feel like if there was a settlement done there should’ve been proper paperwork in place or on file that to Support, this is very unprofessional. It gives scamming company because they take more than what you’re supposed to take and don’t want to give you back your money after you’re taking him mind you I have been fighting this company over and over for For the amount that was above the settlement amount For months. And every time I call, they act like they do not know what I’m talking about. This place is very unprofessional and I feel like yes people get in a bind and have to stop paying bills sometimes or you know life happens, but I feel like this company needs to be out of business because I don’t know how to comply to actual business proper legitimation, saving paperwork on file communication they’re gonna call back but never call back when people have hard times they make it worse because they take more than what they’re supposed to be taking and they don’t wanna give your money back once they take more than what they supposed to have taken This deserves Shut down!

    Extremely rude and very unprofessional. I had questions with no answers provided and then I was hung up on. I don’t understand why I have received this collection letter and “Kyle R***” if that even was his name was so condescending and sarcastic.

    I have a dental bill that I have been paying monthly to my dentist and now them.They will call me with incorrect balance owed amounts,and ask when am I paying my bill 5 days after I have just paid the agreed upon monthly amount.They insist that payments have been returned from the bank even though I have sent them verification and copies of cancelled checks from my Bank .They try to coerce me into paying using a post dated check or set up auto pay.They never deduct payments made from the balance due and wanted me to negotiate and make a final payment at 10% off an incorrect amount and will not send a written agreement with the correct amount owed.. .I am constantly telling them they are incorrect and have requested a written verification of the receipt of payment with correct balance due . They make me so annoyed and angry because they call me right after I pay the agreed upon amount demanding more money.Theybdon't have their records nor act together.No way would I set them loose with autopay from my checking account or credit card.I don't trust them.

    Our company was using Capital Accts for collection on some old debts. Was going pretty well for a long time then it all went bad quick. They claim they had a server issues and there was no access to our accts and that it would be fixed in 2 days, that turned into 2 months. It was ridiculous. Then they iniciated a program of sending out letters to clients that there was an additional charge for, ours was over $500. We were never informed of this program they just started deducting the charges from our recoveries. That is stealing in every sense of the word. When I demanded my money back they said it would be another month. This is probably worth calling an attorney as I am sure there are other clients that are having the same issue.

    I received a debt collection from Capital Accounts and when looking into it with my doctors office they had sent no such debt to them in my name. Nor have they ever done business with capital accounts. My doc tried calling them multiple times to clear the debt and they either hang up or place them on hold indefinitely. This company is a scam as you can see from the reviews here.

    In July of 2023 I got a debt settled for $800 with their agreement of total removal of the debt from my credit report along with a letter of removal. i saved the online chat of the agreement from Ms. F****** on a flash drive and have a copy of my bank statement.. they have not removed the debt from my credit report as per the agreement nor have they sent me a letter of removal.. In short they lied. It has not been removed from my credit report nor have I received a letter of removal. I have disputed it several times on ******** with no results. Only one star because the system won't let me leave no stars.

    They robocall more than 10 times daily then think they do not have to answer questions about who they are. WORST people and they seem to have zero understand of what the law is

    I work for a business that utilizes collections for outstanding bills. I have asked Capital Accounts to stop contacting me several times and they will not stop calling and emailing trying to sell me their services.

    I received a medical bill from 2018 stating that I owed $2995.00. In all of this time...I have NEVER received any notification from my provider or any other correspondence from anyone regarding any payment due for any type of reason. I called them and was told they would put the claim on hold until they gathered all of the necessary paperwork so they could mail it too me. It's been almost a month and I have heard nothing from them on this fraudulent charge. I have great credit and don't want this to negatively affect my score and/or report! Any help regard this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
