    In June of 2023, I reached out to ************** to design a custom logo and branding package for my business. After our consultation, the pricing for the package, $944, was provided, and I paid the first half - $472 - to start the project, with the other $472 paid in August 2023 when the files were delivered.************** advertises a bespoke, custom made logo and branding package for his clients, which is what **** me to choose him to design mine. It came to my attention in February 2024 that the logo that he presented as being specifically created by him was, per his admission, purchased from a vector website, and presented as his own work. While he was paid for original, custom work, what I received was not. His website states, We believe in the power of a great logo to make your business flourish and grow. Our team is dedicated to working with you to design a timeless logo that perfectly embodies your brand and sets you apart from the competition. As it stands, I am unable to use the files for my own company as other companies have the same flame logo, including ********************** and Beacon Healing which has an alternate version of the flame logo. I did not receive what I paid and trusted ************** to provide. I reached out to ************** and he has declined providing a refund of the $944 for failing to provide an original, custom logo. This logo, and the branding, are not in use in any form of media, digital or print.
