    We recently had a very frustrating experience with Cenwood Appliance. We ordered a washer and dryer from them, and shortly after installation, we discovered serious damage to our wood floors caused by a faulty installation. The installer forgot to tighten the hose on the dryer, which led to a leak that went unnoticed for about a week, causing extensive water damage under the floor. When we called Cenwood, they sent a ** warranty technician who immediately pointed out the installation error. Cenwood then filed a claim with their insurance. However, dealing with their insurance took months of back-and-forth, which was incredibly stressful and time-consuming. In the end, the insurance covered most of the damage—about $17K out of the $20K worth of damage. But when we approached Cenwood about covering the remaining $3K, they refused, citing it as “standard practice.” While I wouldn’t be upset if they had covered the full claim from the start, this situation is particularly frustrating because we paid a premium for a high-end washer/dryer set. To then be left to cover a significant portion of the damage caused by their mistake feels unfair. I cannot recommend Cenwood based on this experience. While the product itself may be fine, their customer service and lack of accountability for installation mistakes have left us highly disappointed.
