    I would like to express my appreciation to Bolt Movers for responding to my request to speak with one of the owners within 24 hours of my posting of my concerns regarding my bill for a recent move. After a short conversation over the phone we were able to reach a resolution.

    I rarely do negative reviews, but I feel an obligation to try and save as many people as possible from working with this company. We chose them based on their great reviews and promises of a premium moving experience, which I am now very suspicious of. The company appears professional, but they are not. They were supposed to have 2 trucks and only had one for the majority of the day because the other was on another job. They company never called to let us know, they just sent half the crew and let them tell us. The young men doing the moving for Bolt are very nice, but they ended up breaking multiple items due to poor placement in the truck and hurried carelessness. We have thousands in damage but the company would only give us a $300 check as compensation, even though it was entirely their fault. The move was local but took FOREVER and by the end they were basically just chucking things out of the truck. One truck went to our storage unit and they just piled things in sideways. We still have no idea what all might be broken in there. I don't know who the owners of Bolt are, but they seem to need a lot of leadership and business training. We were really hoping this would be the premium experience they claimed it would be, but it was an absolute mess. Even knowing we have another move coming up and would have considered using them if they had handled the issues in the first move well, they could not be bothered. RUN, don't walk from this dismal and unprofessional company.
