    I ordered a book. It came without the correct cover, the pages were yellow. This book was OLD! It was not what was described at all! I will never buy from them again! I’d advise anyone to not trust them! Total rip!

    I ordered a book that was stated as very good. The book had writing throughout the book, several chapters were underlined completely or just sentences. Several pages were folded, the book binding was damaged and there was a scar indentation on the front of the book. There were stickers on the back and part of the front. This book was priced as much as it cost brand new, stated to be very good condition but was very poor condition. This first edition book had a collectable price on it and was anything but collectable. This book is only good for toilet paper in an outhouse. Shame on American Book Warehouse!

    I received an email from American Book Warehouse (ABW), confirming my order however, there was no tracking number assigned to the order. After a week I contacted ABW by phone to inquire about the order. ABW responded within an hour by email that my book should be received within no more than a day. My book arrived the very same day. The shipment was excellent with no damage to my book. Thanks, ABW!

    The post office was very slow delivering the book I ordered from American Book Warehouse (this was obvious from the tracking information, and it was during bad weather throughout the country) and ABW had great customer service that more than made up for this inconvenience. They responded within 24 hours to inquiries and came up with a replacement resolution that was more than fair.

    I am not one to usually issue bad reviews, but this company just lost my business! I ordered a book for my classroom of preschoolers on October 25th, and I got an email stating that it had shipped and would arrive within 4-8 days through media mail. I got two emails asking how my experience went and both times I had marked that I did not receive my order. Both times they stated we are sorry and that was it. I sent them an email asking what the status was on November 2nd, since I had not received it yet and there was no tracking information. They responded back and told me my order was sent to the warehouse, so it should have arrived by now, and asked me to confirm my shipping address. They said they would contact the warehouse to get the tracking information. After I confirmed my address, they responded back saying that the item I ordered was out of stock and their computer system "mistakenly" relisted it even though their inventory was at 0, and it was marked shipped 'by accident". They said they have been trying to source the item from other suppliers, but with no success. They offered me a refund on my order. I went back to their website, and oddly enough the book is still listed as in stock and for sale, but now they are charging $5 more for it. This seems extremely deceiving. I am hoping I still get my refund.

    I ordered one book and then was charged 4 or 5 more times for books I did NOT order. Having to cancel my card and will be going after the Refund

    We checked with our payment processor immediately after this customer informed us of the unrecognized charges. Our payment processor said that those additional charges were not made by our company. The only charge we have with this customer's information is the original charge for the book she ordered, which was delivered on October 8, 2022. We asked the buyer to double check that those charges were under our company name, but we never received any verification that the charges were billed under the same name. We believe that a different company made those charges, and the buyer confused it with a charge from our company, because the information from our payment processor confirms there were no duplicate charges. We're very sorry for any trouble that the customer is experiencing, but those additional charges were not made by us.

    Ok there was no company name on any of the charges including the one you admit too.
    It literally had the initials of the book with order numbers and TN for Tennessee. If I could screenshot it and post it here I would.
    That is why my bank fraud department reimbursed me.
    I did receive the one book I ordered.
