The green pal worker came to cut the grass and ran over something and broke the glass in my door I got cut on my foot he show no concern about my family or children he was unprofessional this company doesnt need to be in business someone should be hold responsible for this this unacceptableBusiness response

I hired JA **** Services through GreenPal website. The subcontractor did not show three different times that they were scheduled to come. When they finally showed I was told $30 for the lawn which is the same mount I have been paying for the last 10 years. When they finished I was charged $125 and they did not even finish the job. There was no trimming done. They left things in my yard knocked over and did not even pick up the grass they cut. The yard looks worse than before. It is a horrible mess like a 4 year old mowed it. I have to pay another lawn company to come and redo the entire yard. They left high grass and lines where they clearly missed whole areas. It's literally the worst mowing job I have ever received and I am 70. They took advantage of me. The owner even called and threatened me because I made a bad review on the website. He needs removed from the website.Business response

I apologize for the experience you had with JA **** Services. We understand your frustration with the multiple missed appointments and the poor quality of the service you received.
However, the agreement you had regarding the service and the pricing was with the landscaping professional you hired and there was a 24 hour window to stop payment if the service was not performed to your satisfaction. . We are truly sorry for the inconvenience and the distress this situation has caused you.

On May 8, 2024 I was charged by GreenPal service provider ****** for services not rendered to my backyard. My husband had already done the front yard and I was sent a picture by text message from ****** of the backyard as though it had been done. However, only part of the yard was displayed in the picture which is where my husbands truck is parked which is how I knew it was my yard. My bank charged an overdraft fee of $35 due to the $47 being drafted out my account. I would not have complaint if the job was done but this is fraudulent.Business response

I booked to have my lawn mowed by tcs lawn care through GreenPal. He later called me to cancel saying I lived outside his area. GreenPal charged me 30 dollars for the lawn mowing which I never received and signed me up for every two weeks. Apparently they dont have a listed phone number but if I dont get an immediate refund and get taken off their list of customers I will take further action against these crooks.Business response

I'd reach out to the vendor that you hired, **'s Lawn Profession, to ask about why you were charged for a mow that never happened. ************
GreenPal does not automatically bill you unless the vendor marked the appointment complete.

Signed up to privide lawncare services through Greenpal. As of lately I am NOT getting any auctions yet, they send me emails stating I have job bids available yet when I go to the app to check the app says I have nothing. Contacted ******* via email to get this issue resolved they refused to help and instead pointed me to a ************** for help. I was on their ************** before and they dont give any support there either. This company seems to just take customers and vendors money but, offer 0 sort of technical or customer support.Business response

My company signed up to become a vendor for the GreenPal. We worked through them for a few months. During this time, unfortunately it was rainy season for us so some customers had to reschedule; God forbid that happening ratings drop for things out of your control. We also performed services that we never got paid for, with the excuse that sometimes a fake customer can get thru the system. Some customers even choose to quit using this company and use us directly, which we can't help. We never once had any complaints and always received a 5 star rating. All of the sudden one day we went to log in to go to a scheduled customers house and we were banned. I have tried to call the "support line" several times and no one ever answers or calls back. I have sent emails, no one ever responds.Customer response

It was a general work contract. Money was deducted out of every payment I received. I am owed $75 from a serviced I performed thru the company. I was told I would have to seek legal action against the property owner, that there was nothing they could do. They claim it is an average of about $1, No it's more like $5+ depending on the price of the service. I have called and left several voicemails along with several emails and no response.Business response

There are a few reasons why your account would be deleted. Taking customers offline, being two weeks late on your appointments or having your ratings drop below a certain threshold. Also, if you were not paid, it was the homeowner that didn't pay you--not GreenPal. I would reach out to that homeowner and ask about payment. GreenPal attempts to run their card every night until payment is made.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: customers coming off GreenPal to use vendors is out of our control. My ratings was "above the threshold", which like I previously stated , can't help if things have to be rescheduled due to weather, which you obvious don't take into consideration. And as for the customer not paying, it was a fake account with a fake card, which obviously you failed to verify that it was an actual person and card. If you would actually answer a phone call, some things could be handled properly.

I had lawn service ONLY quoted and completed by Kicking ********************** and grass was mowed only! I was charged twice on July 18 for $30 each charge. It should have been only one $30 charge as quoted. When I tried to contact GreenPal, they sent me this truly unprofessional email of their "terms and conditions" and told me to either contact the vendor directly via text message or to valid speak with my credit card company that they were not responsible and could not make refund, yet they are the ones that took the payment!.Business response

I used this business thru GreenPal to do some landscaping work on my property, he gave me a quote and asked for a deposit of $200.00 for supplies on May 30, 2023. Since then, he keeps telling me he will be at my home to start the work but never shows up and will not call me back to let me know what's going on. Also, I have contacted GreenPal several times and they said they could not help me. They also billed me $50.00 for lawn mowing that was not done.Business response

Was the $200 deposit paid through GreenPal? Also, I looked into your account and it showed that you received a confirmation email stating that your yard had been mowed. We send this notification to let homeowners know that they have 24 hours to approve or dispute the service and that your card will be charged. During this 24-hour period, homeowners can stop payment if the mowing was an error or fraudulent.Initial Complaint

Used them to hire lawn cutting.Guy showed and cut front yard only not the back.Took pic of front yard to show me as proof.I payed the company and gave a tip for total of $30.When I complained and ask for new person they raised my rates higher then first quotes.Business response

There seems to be a little bit of confusion , so let me to clarify.. the locally owned lawn care services you can hire with your GreenPal account are not our contractors nor do they work for me. They pay a small fee (about $1 per transaction) to offer their lawn services on the GreenPal website. With that being said.. I am not in personal communication with them and can't make them to do anything. Basically ... Your GreenPal account helps you get bids, hire, schedule, and pay a local lawn care service. They set their own pricing , and I'm not able offer any discounts or refunds. Any service related issues will need to be worked out directly with the owner of the lawn service you hire. My job is to help by answering any questions about how you can use your GreenPal account to get bids, hire, schedule, and pay your local lawn care service ..sorry for any confusion. If you're not having any luck with your GreenPal account to get a lawn care service you like or that's in your price range, here are a few other websites like GreenPal that I recommend.
