    I was given a 7 day notice by text by the apartment manager. I did not owe money to the apartment complex and moved out because I did not want something negative on my credit or rental history. I was told in text that the apartment was fine, I did not need to turn in keys and that a final account statement was being completed. I provided a forwarding address and I have reached out on multiple occasions to the manager, the asset manager and the HR ***** No one will provide me with a Final Account Statement as stated in the lease. I was given the 7 day on March 25, 2024. I was in my new apartment on April; 1st and was out of the apartment on April 3rd which was 7 business days from the text message. I noticed when I was in my new apartment that I forgot a cabinet full of items and asked if I could come back on April 5, 2024 to get the items unless everything had been removed. I was granted this and was able to get the rest of my belongings. I was told on April 8, 2024 that the Final Account statement was being completed and that I would be informed of any credit due. I told the manager their was an over payment of $310.00 and in text she stated "okay". I asked if the payment would be mailed to me and also in text stated "Yes, I just need an address." I provided my forwarding address the same day which was April 8, 2024. I have asked multiple times since then for an update on the refund and a final account statement and have been given the run around. I have emailed anyone I could with the company to get a resolution and no one will respond or I am given the same answer that they do not have access to my ledger and they will forward my text to someone higher up. I would like to receive my payment that I was promised and in accordance with the lease it has been over 45 days. This was also not a deposit but rather an overpayment of rent.
