    On November 15th 2023 we checked in at the Super 8 Downtown Pigeon Forge TN. My husband is handicapped and needs a few handicap accessible things. This hotel does not offer anything for the handicapped. No walk in showers. No shower chairs. No handicap rooms. When speaking with the owner she said that now we know what it feels like to be discriminated against. I will never use this place again. They even allow their employees who are not handicapped to park in the only 2 handicap parking spots.

    Per our conversation on the phone I did apologize and explained to you that you did not reserve a handicap room and when you arrived we did not have any available, we do provide shower chairs and you never asked for one we didn't know you needed one.  At the same time you kept using the word discrimination constantly and making threats and you also said you are going to sue us, at that point you didn't  want to listen to what I was trying to explain.  Our staff does not park in the handicap spots at all.  The cars parked there did have handicap tags on them. In future if you reserve a room please make sure its handicap.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    we most certainly did ask for a shower chair and we most certainly was told by two different employees that the owner has two hotels and neither one offers handicap rooms.  And we were told by an Indian man that it was ok for the employee to park in the handicap space because he was only there for a little while. It was a gray four door car with a busted bumper and he DID NOT have a handicap tag. Every who responded to this complaint from the hotel is NOT being honest. I would even take a liar detection test to prove what I am saying. Would the hotel owner be willing to do the same thing?
