My husband went in to buy a TYM 125. The salesman said that the Bad Boy 1025 as the IDENTICAL machine. IT WAS NOT...while both are 25 hp the TYM is a larger tractor with a 1380 lb lift capacity. The Bad Boy has just over half the lift capacity. We found out from Ocala Tractor that the list price is $15,900.00. They charged my husband $17,900.00, (which is $1000 less than the TYM. And a good deal if they HAD BEEN the same machine, they are not...) Then he came home where we realized we had gotten "had". We went to Ocala tractor and traded in the Bad Boy and only could get $8500 for trade in on a new machine and had to pay $9500 toward the TYM... GOTO OCALA TRACTOR IF YOU WANT HONESTY AND GOOD BUSINESS ACCUMEN.

    Business Response

    Date: 05/15/2024

Customer came in, looked at tractor, drove tractor, look at multiple tractors.  Salesman suggested a bigger tractor, customer said it was to big.  He was determined to buy this tractor.  Why here customer complained about a truck he bought was dealership fault (lemon), also about getting kicked out of a windrock for harrasing an security guard.  Seems he was not happy about anything.  First thing we heard about his complaint was after he had traded the Tractor.  So they was nothing we could do.  The salesman never missed represented the tractor.  TYM 125 does not even exist.  He is confused about his numbers laid hands on a tractor that was perfect size for what he wanted and said it was to big.  This is mainly buyers remorse.  We are unable to fix a problem that the customer never let us have a chance to fix.  We would of been glad to trade him out of it for a bigger unit and not cost him the 9000 he claims.  It is not our fault the dealership in Florida ripped him off on the trade.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The "small talk" they referenced in their response has nothing to do with the fact that this business over charged me by $3000 over list price.

The truck they referenced had a high pressure fuel pump blow up sending metal shards throughout the fuel system. This cost $33,000.00 covered by the warranty. That came up because the salesman had the same truck with  similar problems. Again having NOTHING to do with their allgedly deceptive sales practices. This deflects from the issue.

They HUNG UP on me when I called to give them a chance to rectify the situation BEFORE we went to Ocala Tractor.

That this salesman allegedly MISREPRESENTED what they sold me.

At the minimum, this company should refund the $3000 they overcharged me.

I attached a portion of the sales receipt from Ocala Tractor since they indicated that there is no TYM Tractor.

    Sincerely,
