    My son went to English Mountain Recovery on 12/26/21 and stayed until 01/08/22 for drug addiction to opiods. They took him off suboxine when he arrived, which you are not supposed to do. EMR had no electricity or water because of snow on top of the mountain, *********** could not get out of bed to go get food or drink. Peope started getting sick so they called the fire department. The building got carbon monoxide poisioning, and several patients went to the hospital. They sent *********** to their hospital because he got so sick and this hospital put him back on suboxine for 3 days, then sent him back to EMR and EMR took him off again. This make you very sick and it is worse than stopping the opioids. They finally sent all patients to a hotel and he stayed in his room. They would bring him food, but nothing to drink. The patients drank water from their bath faucets. I finally got someone to return my call after a week of calling anybody I could, and his name was ****** who identified himself as ***********'s counselor. I said, may I ask you a questions, have you ever met my son, and he replied, No ma'am, but I am going to see him this afternoon. That was the one and only time ***** met this ****** My son passed away 4/11/22, of an ovedose and I would like a refund of the $5,500 we paid for his supposedly care to help cover his funeral expenses. English Mountain is a hoax and it is so sad that they took my son just to get our money and not help him at all. This was our one chance of professional help. They were not equipped to take care of someone who had such a serious addiction. They even had a young lady who had mental issues and her parents got tired of taking care of her. She eventually left the hotel in a strecher because she was so ill. These place need to be held accountable for their actions.

The details of this case are not appropriate to discuss and doing so would violate HIPAA. Consumer Response /* (3000, 16, 2022/07/15) */ Can we address this issue with English Mountain without discussing the medical side of this? I want our money back due to their was no electricity on the mountain, no water and they had no employees there the week after christmas plus the carbon monoxide poisining due to running a generator and then staying 2 weeks at a hotal, was a nightmare.
