Dreams auto sale is a buy here pay here auto selling business with a connected mechanical repair shop attached to their business. They do in house financing. When arriving at the place and taking a lot at their vehicles I asked why all vehicles had their check engine light on? I test drove a few found all the ones I test drove faulty so I left. I received a call from their then secretary saying that the mechanic from their shop (now I know it’s the owner the dealerships father) had a vehicle that he had traded in and was in amazing shape and no check engine light was on , test drove the car for about 7 miles and agreed to buy it. After driving it 2 days I contacted them and let them know the car was jerking and slipping. The owner went with me for a test drive and said he couldn’t feel anything wrong with it at all. 2 weeks after the brakes completely went out during a snow storm. I paid him and his father $200 to fix the front breaks. After fixing the breaks I smelled a loud burning smell from the front of the car. They had done an oil change that they never disclosed or communicated with me. Left the cap off the motor oil off and the oil was burning for a week. They then refused to put anymore oil cause the car “didn’t need” it and just sprayed the motor with water. 2 weeks after that a stability track light came on the car and they said I needed to fix a sensor. They charged $100 for the sensor then said the sensor wasn’t the issue that the whole system had to be replaced $450 this is only the first 2 months of Me having this car. The car has had 8 different issues all paid for me out of pocket since December 2023. 2 days ago he shut it off for “no insurance” the insurance had lapse 4 days prior.l told him today I would get the insurance back on and make my payment and he said NO! He refuses to give me my car back. He called it a repossession due to no insurance but told me he was picking it up due to it being in public.INVESTIGATE THIS MAN!!

This customer is correct. We are a buy here pay here lot that offers in house financing. We also have a shop that many of our customers choose to use incase they don’t have there own preferred mechanic or shop. We offer pretty decent discounts as you can see from her review. She was able to get new brakes for a deep discount. It’s normally about a $350 repair. We was able to get her done for $200. We even went as far as only accepting half payment and the other half was added to her bill. Looked at my records and I also see the $100 she spent on getting an abs sensor replaced. While vehicles are in our shop we do check fluids and top of any fluids needed. Our mechanic left the oil cap off so some oil did spray out and as soon as we was aware of the issue we had it back at our shop and made it right. We put the cap back on check fluids and detailed the engine. Customer was happy and never said anything negative. We went above and beyond with this customer even letting her get a few payments behind multiple times. I had always made it very clear with her and any of my customers who purchase vehicles from us. I can work with your payment if you get behind and need some help but I CAN NOT allow a customer to drive a vehicle without insurance. That’s a huge liability to us and also everyone else on the road. Last week she was contacted by our office assistant and was told she had no insurance and could not be driving the vehicle. She quickly rushed off the phone and said she would call us back. No call back and vehcile was turned off. Once vehicle was cut off she finally called and I explained to her she can’t drive the vehicle without insurance but as soon as insurance is active then vehicle is good to be driven. She was extremely disrespectful Her exact response was “ I’m (beeeeep) done with this trash (ss ) car I should’ve let u kept it soon as I realized u sold me a lemon Come Get It ”. We repossessed the vehicle for failure to maintain insurance. Few days later she called said she was gonna get insurance and pick car up. I told her it was repossessed for no insurance. And after being talked to like that I no longer wanted to finance her the vehicle. Who would ya know? So long story short if your looking for a vehicle and have a job and can keep insurance hit us up. If you’re looking for a vehicle and plan on driving around with no insurance then we are not the car lot to buy from. We have had plenty of customers who car not pay for insurance or there insurance lapse and they park the vehicle at there home or at our shop and drive it as soon as insurance is back active without any issues. We love those responsible customers. We don’t deal with disrespect at all. Sorry that you had an amazing experience with us till the day you decided to disrespect us and vehicle was repossessed due to your own fault. all this could have been avoided by just paying for insurance when you was supposed to we have no control of that. We did everything we could.
