    I contacted Phillip the owner of Solar Tec Off Grid Solutions, LLC by telephone and purchased a Sol-Arc solar inverter from his company for $7,587.93 on Thursday, 1/9/24, Invoice #0006. After speaking with another solar company on 1/13/24, I was informed that I should not purchase from Solar Tec Off Grid Solutions because they have a history of not delivering on the solar products purchased by customers. I called Phillip immediately by text and by phone on Monday, 1/13/24 to cancel my order and request a refund. Phillip texted me back informing me to send an email to [email protected]. I followed up with an email to the billing department requesting to cancel the order before it was shipped. I received an email from Hailey with Solar Tec Off Grid Solutions two days later on 1/15/24 informing me that I had 48 hours from purchase to request a cancellation or I would be charged a 10% restocking fee. I replied to her email on the same day informing her that I do not owe a restocking fee since I made the cancellation request within 2 business days or 48 hours from the date of purchase and that the weekends do not count. I did not receive anything in writing on the invoice about a 48 hour return policy or a 10% restocking fee and Phillip the owner never informed me of this policy on the day of purchase when we spoke on the phone. I followed up with two additional emails on 1/20/24 and 1/21/24. I called the business phone number one additional time, but I was unable to speak with someone. I finally received an email response from Phillip on 1/22/24 claiming he had been out of town and asking me if Hailey had taken care of my refund. As of this writing there is no refund to my credit card. I also filed a dispute with the First Horizon bank Visa credit card I used to make the purchase, and I am still waiting to hear back from them. I cannot upload or download the invoice Phillip sent by email.
