I found Woodbury auto group on ******** marketplace. I had been looking for a nice suv to purchase once I had saved up some money. The car I wanted was sold before I could get there. My fiance at the time found a car he liked there so we went to purchase it. While there I saw a *** truck I liked. My fiance put $3500 down on a Chrysler 300 & I put $6000 down on the truck , payment was $400 every 2 weeks and $500 additional for the first 4 payments so mind you in a months time span I had spent well over $10,000 with this company. The very next day after driving my fiances check engine light came on and his whole radio display kept shutting on and off, in the *** I kept getting a warning stating that there was a drivetrain malfunction. I immediately reported these things to them. I took both cars to them they stated the ******** was fine just a sensor issue/ catalytic converter. They stated the *** needed to be charged , mind you it ran off gas or electric doesnt have to be both so I knew that wasnt the issue. I said the drivetrain has nothing to do with being charged. He said go charge it and bring back if nothing changes. I then leave go charge and the same thing occurs. I live 40 mins from Woodbury so instead of pricing that far again I take the truck to EuroFix and pay for a real diagnosis. They quote me a $12,000 repair. Said the timing belt on the engine needs to be changed. They stated it was nowhere near time whoever had the truck was not getting it serviced. I had not even had the truck long enough to be serviced yet. I then took it to Woodbury with the diagnosis he said oh no I will pay for parts and you pay for labor I say fine can you give loaner car while fixing he said no they dont offer. The car was running very funny so I parked it and let him know that. He did not reach back out until a month later when I reached out first saying parts were ready but I needed to pay my car note. He then repossessed my car.

I purchased the car 2 weeks ago, I understand the car is as is, however, they didnt even perform a safety inspection before selling it to me. The brake calipers were missing bolts, the rear brakes and rotors were bad. The tires were severely bad. The hazard lights didnt work and to make insult to injury I found out yesterday the car is ***** infested. My daughter screamed because the ***** was on her shoulder then there was one in her bag when we came home. Also, the parking sensor fell behind the bumper and the car beeps the entire time you are driving it is so annoying. When I spoke to them about the car I was told that the issues are cosmetic. How are safety issues cosmetic! He did offer to fix the hazard lights, but why would I trust them to make repairs at this point. I asked if they would take something off the price because I have to make so many repairs and he flat out said no. I thought they were nice when I was making the purchase, but I see now they dont care at all. He said I should have picked something else he blamed me and said that it was my choice to get that car. I didnt know it was having all these issue. This was the worst mistake I have ever made. I want my money back and the money back I invested in repair.

I went car shopping on 04/29/24 at Woodbury Auto. The car I intended on getting wasnt ready (smoking from the engine) and I was advertised (2) more vehicles both ****** Maxima. I was interested in one, I asked the car lot could I place a hold on the car for $1,500. They agreed but failed to mention I wouldnt get a refund if I didnt want to purchase the car. I called today 04/30/24 requesting my refund and was told no stated that I shouldve got a hold receipt which they did not give me. The lot is now stating I purchased the car which is false I have no title or credentials tying me with the vehicle. While contacting the lot the 04/30/24 receptionist told me doesnt matter hold or not she will not be giving me my money back which was not explained to me yesterday 04/29/24 or else I wouldnt have given the business my money.

I assumed that a basic safety inspection would have been done before they would sell a vehicle and that if there were safety issues, that would have been disclosed. Within a week of having the vehicle: the horn didnt work, the rear drivers side turn signal didnt work, only one door lock worked, all three rear seatbelts stopped working, one tire had a slow leak, and the airbag system didnt work. I took it in the first weekend I had it and all they could fix were the rear seatbelts. In my third week of owning it, the car broke down (head gaskets and a leak somewhere) and I couldnt even drive it back to the dealership so I had to have it fixed locally. I notified the dealership and they refused to credit me any portion of what I paid for the repair. Within a week after that, both front seatbelts stopped working and the leak in the tire got worse. I let Woodbury know about the seatbelts and asked them to fix them and I took the car to a shop near my job to have the tire plugged. They said theyd order the parts for the seatbelts and it took about two months for them to get them, but when I brought the car in, they told me they got the wrong parts and I drove off again without working seatbelts and no airbags. A few weeks later, I was driving overnight with my kids and the power steering suddenly went out. I turned the car off and on to reset it but within an hour the power steering was out completely, stranding my kids and me two hours away from home. I took it to a ***** dealership and was told that the engine isnt mounted correctly, that everything is just hanging in there, that the car is a fire hazard, and that they arent even able to communicate with the car to find out what is wrong with the power steering. So now I have a car I bought six months ago that: airbags, front seatbelts, horn, power steering, one turn signal, and door locks all dont work. Additionally: engine is mounted incorrectly, its a fire hazard, and the dealership cant diagnose.

I have worked with this customer from the very beginning. We had several appointments for her that she did not show up to, to have the vehicle repaired. If she would have came the 1st appointment, we would have noticed the parts were incorrect and had it fixed sooner. However, it is as is. We offer a warranty on our Engine & Transmission for the first 30 days, this is in-house repairs only. To complain about safety issues BUT just drove from ** to ** and OK back to ** and back to AR and OK and back to ** within A WEEK and then broke down is a little bizarre.

I am rejecting this response because:

I missed just one appointment to have the car fixed and that was over three months after purchasing the car. All of our correspondence is via text so it will prove that I started communicating with this business within the first week I purchased the car. The first appointment to fix issues with the car, I was told that only the back seatbelts could be fixed and they would have to order parts for the turn signal, door locks, and was told that the horn couldnt be fixed by then at all. I checked in via text over and over asking when the part would come in and notified when the front seatbelts also stopped working. It took easily over two months before the first appointment (the one I missed) was set to fix the seatbelts along with the other outstanding issues, and then I got in just a couple of weeks later. Not only were the seatbelts not fixed, but not one of the other outstanding issues were fixed either. This was all before I knew that the engine wasnt even mounted correctly. The car was unsafe from the very beginning and shouldnt have been sold in the first place. When I asked about maybe trading it back for a different car I was told that all sales are final.

    Sincerely,
