Tytan Heating and Cooling did the heating/ air conditioner vents (2 new vents) for a kitchen remodel done on our house in the fall of 2018. The vents didn’t seem to work well and they were called back to do something with it. They did seem to work better then. This was a job done through an Abilene contractor. We are both seniors and we didn’t go into attic to inspect it. Just recently we had some electrical work done on my laundry room and it was found that the ducts were sitting loosely and leaking air into the attic, not sitting on the vents snugly. They never told us there was a problem sitting them correctly. We trusted it was done correctly, We would have wanted it done correctly. We are on fixed income and we have had to pay someone else to fix Tytan’s poor workmanship. We had no Idea it was problematic. Tytan refuses to make it right. I would not recommend Tytan Heating & Cooling to anyone. Their work was shoddy. They did not want to do what was necessary in the first place. They also left a lot of old duct work in our attic and did not remove it. We are about to have insulation added to our attic so we must get this done. It should have been done correctly four and a half years ago. This is an older house so it is not as easy as a new construction. However they should have done it right.
