This company was recommended to us from another company (BBB accredited) that was not going to be able to help us with our project. Initially Extreme Exteriors (EE) was professional and quick, coming out to the house to measure and then coming up with a nice plan for our back yard living space. We paid $100 + for them to come to the house for measurements and an additional $400 + for the design. We did like the design and the plan and were requested to pay a portion up front for supplies. We paid $12,000 and discussed with them our concern for know difficulty when dealing with the Permit Dept of our city. 7 months after the planned completion date of the project, they had not started the project citing problems with the Permit Dept. We even acted as a go-between with the Permit Dept and EE to help speed the process as EE stated they were having problems with the Permit Department. We were finally (after some delay) refunded the $12k but not the other money we paid toward our project which they did not start/complete. This was despite an employee advising us months into the delay that they would refund the entire amount if they were unable to complete the project. I would not recommend this company. Of note, however, is that the employees we spoke to regularly were always respectful.
