02/28/22 I recently payed a $199 fee to try and become a PHP life insurance agent. However, I feel as though I was mislead and would like a refund on my debit card. This occurred Friday, 02/25/22 which falls within the 3 business day refund policy (which I was never made aware of). I had an interview with a PHP agent where they asked me to commit $199 to pursue my insurance agent license. I initially thought this company was right for me since it claims to help save people money but I no longer have the time or interest to work here and I don't think I am a good fit for this type of work. My agent code is XXXXXXX, my customer number is XXXXXX and my transaction ID is XXXXXXXXXXXX. I've attached the payment confirmation email as well. I would like a full refund of the amount I paid.Business response

on 02/25/2022 i was contacted by a php agent and recruited to do an interview. later that day i joined the interview to learn more about the job. I was told that i would sell life insurance to people and had to pay $199 for training, i later realized that i won't be selling insurance to people but rather recruiting instead. i feel as though i was mislead and would like a full refund on my debit card please. i am writing this on 02/26/2022 which is within the 3 business day refund policy. On 1/31/22 (January 31st, 2022) I paid $199 via debit card for the new associate fee and training. I am still within the 3 day refund period and would like to receive a full refund for the amount I paid. I no longer have time for the commitment as I just accepted an offer for a full time job. so to start a class with this company I was advised it is $199...I told Cedric ****** that I don't have $200 for this class...he stated he would sponsor $100 and I could pay $99...I paid the $99....this business is definitely not one I would do business with so I asked for the $99 back...I was advised since I paid Cedric $99 via cash app they would have to look into how they would reimbursement. I have been asking Mr. Wilson for a refund and he gave me the contact name of Joshua P******. I emailed Mr. P****** who lied and said he already told me I was past the 3 days to have money refunded to me, but then said per our conversation he was looking into how to refund me and that he sent money to Mr. Wilson and ask him for the refund. I would like my $99 refund to me. ASAPBusiness response

I thought this was a good idea at first untill i realized i paid 199 i am trying to formally request the refund within the time allowed but ot seems like no one is answering me i do not think this job is a good fit and would just like a response sooner not later i just dont like the fact i feel like im getting ignored my customer number is XXXXXX i just want my money backBusiness response

On 12-10-2021 I found this company on indeed I thought I was going to sell life insurance and finally be able to get into the financial industry. I signed up, paid the $199 fee, and went through orientation and felt a really bad feeling it didn't seem right, Then I read the script and it was for convincing friends and family into their scheme I did my research and saw other people saying the same thing it's like a pyramid scheme but legal I'm not interested I just want my money back. I am within three business days for a refund and would like a refund, please thank you.Business response

On 9-29-2021, I signed an NAA agreement for the PHP agency and then was forced to pay $199.99. I am requesting a full refund because I do not trust this company. I was promised a legitimate opportunity to sell insurance but what I was offered is a recruiting position. I've contacted many that work within the company to get help but have been treated poorly. This is written on 9-29-2021 which falls within the 3 day window. I spoke with my marketing director and she was extremely unhelpful and what she said did not align with what is stated in the contract I signed. The contract states that I am allowed 3 business days to receive a refund and I am filing this complaint following the day I paid the initial $199.99. I paid on 9-28-2021 9:45 PM, my transaction ID is XXXXXXXXXXXX, customer# XXXXXX. My agent code is: XXXXXXX I paid with my debit card, my phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX.
