So I ended up having a Mary Kay party I hosted with the help of a consultant (***********************) and for doing it I ended up getting Mary Kay patches which came with my $20 lotion that I bought and she just ended up throwing the eye patches in there. I ended up trying them on August 5th 2023 so Saturday. Immediately after about ***************************************************************************************** my actual eyes were watering and burning. I took it off and I had a really bad horrible burning red rash underneath my eye so I immediately threw them away and went to go wash my face with warm water and my face wash. Not to mention previously I had not applied any product to my face besides washing my face that morning and I was trying to patches on at 8:30 the package says it's dermatologist tested, opthamologist tested, tested for skin irritancy and allergy, and suitable for sensitive eyes. I have never had a product for me like this I've tried products with menthol and this was nothing like it they're stinging pain lasted for an hour and my eyes were watering still an hour later. I ended up washing my face three times and my eyes as well. I have pictures to back this up. I'm also calling them Monday to hopefully get a resolution of my liking, and if I do not get a resolution of my liking I will unfortunately have to follow up higher. I'm putting this out here to hopefully get this fixed sooner. This might be a dangerous product with ingredients that needs to be pulled off the shelf so this is an alarming issue. I'm hoping you get in contact me personally to solve this and for me to give you more info as this could be something that can save others. I believe it caused a slight chemical burn.

      Hello

      Dear All

In response to the above to the Mary Kay Company, unfortunately there is no agreement, since they maintain the same arguments. Therefore, I was the aggrieved party, and in addition to losing $30,000.00 (THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS), I lost my money on that trophy on wheels!, and not satisfied with it, I NEVER received cash compensation, I barely qualified .
On the other hand, Director ************** is responsible for having *GUIDED* me in this process. as well as having given me loans on two occasions so that I could stay in the company. Those loans that I could not pay, and in that case, she asked me for the merchandise in exchange, all valued at $16,000.00 (SIXTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS), where Mrs. ******** herself, from the ***************** has the evidence of this, audios, photos, and conversations, that he asked me to know if I was right. In addition to asking me to send him as support all the invoices in the name of the different people who lent themselves to help me and who (were never consultants), so that I could reach the goal of the car. Now, by virtue of the fact that other of my consultants returned the merchandise, hers, and that of her daughters and friends (who are not directly mine), of these people, according to Mrs. ******** I enjoy those commissions, which I did not! It's true!, I go back and repeat, with these invoices that they are sending me and that I owe to the company, how is it that I owe you money? Are you not the ones who owe me commissions for the year 2021? Why did they change the intouch? Did they modify the system to eliminate my tests? Well, this moral and psychological and financial damage ended my peace, my tranquility and my credibility with you! In that case, you should charge these invoices to the former director *************** look for her and send her these charges, this already has me tired!, also with the fact of having taken the car from me, with the supposed error of the car department is already a humiliation on the part of you and Mrs. ******* for the way she spoke to me

      Mary Kay invoices.zip
. Those $7,000.00 that they sent me for the return of what I sent them, is nothing for everything I lost. I regret having been with the wrong person, as well as having wasted my time and money, to continue discussing a matter that you did not want to resolve in a good way, such as presenting the reason for the payment through a detailed invoice, for this reason I put In doubt this invoice, like all the traps and deceitful awards, of an unsubstantiated argument, for the temporary license and of all those directors who have the same document as my person!.
I am attaching the invoices, the four that have come to me since September of last year, until December 2022.

without further ado, wishing you a happy Wednesday

      Thanks for your attention

We are in receipt of ********************************* February 3 comments. The Company severed its relationship with the Independent Sales Director referenced in August 2022. We also provided Ms. ****** with the ability to return any product purchased within the last year, for 90% its original value, which she took advantage of.

The invoices that Ms. ******* currently references pertain to sales commission adjustments resulting from wholesale product purchased being returned to the company for reimbursement by other independent beauty consultants on Ms. ******* team.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to clarify this matter.

I have just resigned from Mary Kay as an Senior Consultant. ****************** who was my director ILLEGALLY signed me, my partner and one other person up by obtaining our social security numbers over our phones and processed our enrollment without allowing us to read any terms of the agreement between we and Mary Kay! She tried to do this with one other person I brought to Mary Kay, but I was alerted by another person who is lawful and has been with Mary Kay for years that ****************** broke the rules. What she did on a more serious level is SHE COMMITTED FRAUD! Both she and her Director, ****** ******* are guilty of FRAUD! ****** always said that ****** taught her everything she knows about Mary Kay. In the "Verification" form that goes out to interested parties who want to sign up and cannot fill out the form with/in front of the Consultant/Director, the form plainly states: "Because the Independent Beauty Consultant Agreement is a binding contract, the potential new team member must personally complete the Agreement information and accept its terms. If your potential new team member is not present, click here to send an email invitation." ****************** knowingly deceived us and committed FRAUD! I confronted ******, ****** and the Mary Kay Legal department to report this Fraud. I told them that our contracts were not legally binding since we were misled of our rights and duties legally not given full disclosure of our terms and agreements before she put our enrollment through unilaterally. Mr. **** of MK Legal said to just enjoy the business and our contracts are fine! I appealed to the sales department seeking help. Nothing! Just enjoy your business! Not only do I have written proof that I submitted in full to MK Legal of ****** admitting this fact in email form, she also admitted to adding inventor to my partners account so that she could raise her performance numbers! Someone above MK Legal needs to stop these women now and fire them NOW!

According to our records, an Independent Beauty Consultant Agreement was submitted in Mr. *******'s name on or around July 8, 2022. It also appears that Mr. ******* placed several Mary Kay(r) product orders with the Company. Our records further indicate that, Mr. ******* recruited a new team member as well. Mr. ******* alleges that Ms. ****** fraudulently submitted an Agreement in his name. As noted in his complaint, Mr. ******* provided Ms. ****** the information to complete the Agreement in his name. In Mr. *******'s complaint, he appears to allege that our representative was not helpful, which is simply not the case. When Mr. ******* informed us that he met another Independent Sales Director and requested to be moved to her unit, our representative informed him that in accordance with our longstanding policy regarding changing units, he has the option of submitting a new Agreement with a new recruiter of his choice to the Company after completing one year of total inactivity in his current Mary Kay business. Mr. ******* decided he does not want to pursue his Mary Kay business, so we complied with his request to voluntarily terminate his Agreement with the Company. Regarding Mr. *******'s allegations that he did not have access to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, upon submission of his Agreement, the Company sent Mr. ******* a welcome email, which contained a link to the Terms and Conditions of the Agreement that can be found on our online community known as Mary Kay(r) InTouch. Mr. ******* also alleges that Ms. ****** fraudulently submitted an Agreement for another Independent Beauty Consultant, as well as submitted fraudulent Agreement and order in his husband's name. In an effort to obtain a written, firsthand account from Mr. *******'s husband, we made numerous attempts to contact him; however, he has not returned any of our calls. According to our records, his husband is a current Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant. . Naturally, we are concerned any time anyone indicates that a member of the independent sales force may have engaged in any activities in violation of the terms of the Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant Agreement ("Agreement"). With regard to the allegations against Ms. ******, please know that Mr. *******'s complaint is the first we have heard of this very concerning information. We assured Mr. ******* that we would investigate this matter and take appropriate action based on our findings. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, ****** *********** Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/10/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Dear Madam/Sir, Ms ***********' last minute response to my complaint is untrue and unacceptable. She alleges that I simply gave my information over the phone to Mrs.******. She alleges that my husband and the one recruit I brought to Mrs. ****** willing gave their information as well. The FACT IS: We were misled by Mrs. ****** that it is an acceptable practice to obtain the Social Security numbers and electronic signatures over the phone by Mary Kay Consultants/Directors. For Ms. Corarrubias to allege that we did this with knowledge and full agreement without reading our rights, conditions and terms of our agreement is an outright lie. We were misled by Mrs. ****** who told us that "everybody" gives her their information over the phone because they trust her. It was my hesitancy in doing so that made me write to her that I was not feeling comfortable in recruiting people this way since that is very personal information. She wrote to me AFTER SHE SIGNED ME AND MY HUSBAND UP IN THIS FRAUDULENT WAY, that there is "another option" that she had found. She NEVER SENT ME THAT OPTION. That is why she insisted on signing up my recruit over the phone in the same manner as she signed my husband and me up. She went as far as asking me for my password to my Mary Kay Intouch member sight so that she could process the new recruit under me and not directly under herself. Ms. *********** KNOWS THIS AND HAS ALL THE CORRESPONDENCE BETWEEN Mrs. ****** and me where Mrs. ****** admits both to signing three of us up against Mary Kay policy. It is understandable that Ms. *********** would allege that I simply ALLEGE THESE THINGS since she's been representing Mary Kay Corporation for four short years. The BBB has on record to date eighteen complaints against Mary Kay Corp, with only eight being closed. There are three bad reviews against Mary Kay Corporation. On March 10,2022, The Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council Recommended Mary Kay Discontinue Certain Earnings Claims in Compliance Inquiry. However, when Mrs. ****** fraudulently signed my husband, me and then my recruit up she used those very false and misleading lines to convince us to sign up. What were those things she said? She used the following: "I love that you can have freedom and flexibility - side gig or full-time business with Mary Kay." "With just $30 you can earn 4-5 figure passive, residual income." "What would you do with extra income - big or small." "Sign up for as low as 49£ and make your way to financial freedom." 'You can make residual or passive ************** you are looking for an opportunity for a potential avenue of income, a change of career.... join the MARY KAY EXPANSION and earn BIG INCOME." (These are the very things that the BBB's DSSRC placed restrictions on Mary Kay Corporation using in their social media posting. Yet their Director Mrs. ****** continues to repeat them. Misleading and False information! It is very clear to me that Ms. *********** is eager to hide the truth of what we have experienced from Ms.******. Mary Kay's expressed and legally binding statement when a person is signed up are as follows: "Because the Independent Beauty Consultant Agreement is a binding contract, the potential new team member must personally complete the Agreement information and accept its terms. If your potential new team member is not present, click here to send an email invitation." When Mrs. ****** signed up my husband, me and my recruit SHE NEVER DISCLOSED TO US ABOUT THIS LEGAL POLICY OF MARY KAY. It wasn't until I told another director that I reached out for help in trying to understand how to sign up another recruit that we three were wrongly signed up AGAINST MARY KAY POLICY ABOVE. That is when I contacted Mary Kay Legal with proof of Mrs. ****** admitting to me that she had fraudulently signed us up. This simply makes our contracts NULL AND VOID SINCE WE WERE MISLED AND NOT GIVEN THE RIGHT TO READ AND AGREE TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN US AND MARY KAY BEFORE HAND. Yes, Ms. Covarriubus alleges that I was sent my contract terms in a welcome letter. THAT IS NOT HOW PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE SIGNED UP ACCORDING TO MARY KAY POLICY AND PROCEDURES. What is more, it is illegal to mislead people into signing a contract without full disclosure and having both parties in full agreement to the contract. We were NOT given that by Mrs. ******. What does this matter to Ms. *********** since she tries to make me look like I was just happy buying products, recruiting people and living my life happily with Mary Kay before I resigned as a Sr. Consultant? It is simply her allegations that are smoke screening what actually took place and which I have full written admission from Mrs. ****** saying she did these things. We have a right to a contract between ourselves and Mary Kay in which we fill out and sign....not in the fraudulent way Mrs. ****** signed us up which render our contracts Null and Void. Ms.********** is purposely covering up this fact and wants to make it seem like they've done all they can to help us. They have done NOTHING BUT DANCE AROUND THEIR PRACTICES OF PUTTING MONEY OVER THE FAIR TREATMENT OF THOSE THEY RECRUIT. Check the other complaints both with the BBB and the Multitudes online from those who have left the company. We have no ax to grind. We simply deserve honest practices which were not done in our case by Mrs.****** which Ms.*********** knows full well. There is never an exception when it comes to Mary Kay allowing someone to change to another Director. However, it is worse then hypocritical for Ms. ********** to ignore her own company directives mentioned above when signing people up. She is working a double standard and that is simply unethical and needs attention. The other matter that Ms.********** alleges falsely is that her office repeated reached out to my husband for a statement in which he simply did not return their phone calls. Ms. ********** knows full well that each time my husband was interrupted at work by her legal aid named ***** that **** refused to give my husband a telephone number to call him back after work. This happened three times! So for Ms. *********** to allege that my husband simply didn't respond is a lie. He was given no information even though they have both his email and his telephone number. It is simply a convenient way for Ms. ********** to cover over this matter and make Mary Kay look good. Mary Kay does not look good at this point and although Ms.********** alleges that this is the FIRST TIME such a complaint has come up, she is unaware of what complaints have been raised for years! The following is a Mary Kay policy that they do not make exceptions on. However, Mrs.****** admitted in writing that she violated this policy to drive up the number of her active recruits when she fraudulently made a product order under my husband's account on Mary Kay Intouch. Notice the following which Ms. ********** is trying to ignore and make an exception to: "We recognize that sometimes exceptional circumstances exist that might necessitate an Independent Sales Director placing an order at the request, and on behalf of a unit member. In those rare circumstances you will need to obtain documentation that the order was requested and authorized by the Independent Beauty Consultant. The documentation doesn't have to be formal but must clearly state the name of the Independent Beauty Consultant and the order amount approved in the form of an email or text from the Independent Beauty Consultant. Please understand that failure to provide such documentation to the Company, if requested, may negatively impact your Agreements with Mary Kay." Has this impacted Mrs. ******' agreement with Mary Kay Corporation? Has it impacted her Director, ***************? Has what Mrs. ****** has been doing impacted Ms.********** in fighting to win yet another deeply impacting complaint against Mary Kay? Only they know. But we have been very negatively impacted by the behavior that Mary Kay Corporation and their legal representation continue to twist and ignore. I am still seeking the opportunity to sign up without having to wait for a year as an inactive consultant and be given the opportunity to READ MY TERMS BEFORE HAND AND WILLINGLY SIGN UP THE LEGAL WAY BETWEEN MARY KAY AND MYSELF. This is NOT AN EXCEPTION that Ms. ********** and the Mary Kay Corporation have to make in my case. It is not an exception at all. I was fraudulently signed up without full knowledge and disclosure beforehand while not even being told I had another option of signing up according to my rights when entering this contract between myself and Mary Kay. I deserve to be treated honestly and legally...not fraudulently by a Mary Kay Director whom Ms. *********** is trying to protect with glowing words on their part. Dear Madam/Sirs, Where it is understood that each person contracted with Mary Kay must take up any issue they may have with Mary Kay Corp individually as I have, it is also clear that Ms. *********** is willfully ignoring our urgent plight due to the fraudulent way that that three of us were signed up by their Director, *********** ******. She is being purposefully secretive. Ms. *********** HAS NOT STATED HEREIN WITH THE BBB OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA anything about the slight, curt email that the Mary Kay Legal Department sent to me last month stating that they are making it possible for me to rejoin Mary Kay under any consultant of my choice. Why has she not entered their action and invitation to this BBB record? That is dishonest and secretive so as to keep the fact that they found due cause to allow me to sign up again despite their long standing rules of having to wait a year as an inactive member! I am seeking full disclosure and full transparency! This is why I plead with the BBB that, before this matter is closed, Ms. *********** be held accountable as the Senior Counsel for Mary Kay Corporation to make it very clear that I have been given the right to rejoin the organization as their brief email mentioned. They said I could sign up before XX-XX-XX and/or I can wait and sign up thereafter as long as I call so that they can help with the process. Why the secretiveness on this BBB platform? Is this yet another hiding from the public what has taken place in secret which Mary Kay Corp along with Ms. *********** has made me spend countless hours and months to fight for justice? Why the ambiguity? I need to know that, the other two contract holders who are my husband and my only former recruit will BE GIVEN THE SAME OFFER TO REJOIN UNDER ANOTHER TRUSTWORTHY MEMBER OF MARY KAY AS MS. *********** HAS MADE AVAILABLE TO ME. WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? BECAUSE THE SAME FRAUDULENT PERSON WHO SIGNED ME UP, (******************,) SIGNED THEM UP AT THE SAME TIME AS ME IN AN ILLEGAL WAY. WE DESERVE TO KNOW THAT WE ARE BEING MADE WHOLE. WHOLE IS HOW WE WERE BEFORE WE WERE FRAUDULENTLY RECRUITED BY MARY KAY DIRECTOR, ******************. MS. *********** UNDERSTANDS MAKING ONE "WHOLE" AS SHE HAS REPRESENTED MARY KAY CORP FOR FOUR SHORT YEARS AND IS DEEPLY TRAINED IN LAW. WE DESERVE TO UNDERSTAND OUR BEING RESTORED TO WHOLENESS AND IT NEEDS TO BE MADE CLEAR HERE FOR THE LEGAL, PUBLIC RECORD WHICH THE BBB OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA LAWFULLY UPHOLDS FOR ALL BUSINESS PARTIES. NO SECRETS MARY KAY! BEFORE I LET THIS GO, WE THREE NEED ASSURANCE THAT THEY CAN CALL AND BE GIVEN THE SAME OPPORTUNITY AS I HAVE BEEN OFFERED LAST MONTH. THE FACT THAT MS. *********** HAS LEFT THEIR OFFER TO ME OFF OF THIS BBB PLATFORM GIVES ME GREAT HESITATION THAT SHE IS MORE CONCERNED FOR THIS TO GO AWAY FROM THE PUBLIC EYE THAN FOR HER TO KEEP THEIR OFFER TRANSPARENT AND HONESTLY SEEN AS ETHICAL AND LEGAL RESOLVE TO RESTORING THE THREE OF US TO LEGAL WHOLENESS. I have just spoken with my husband **************** and my only former recruit, ***************. They both want the opportunity to be given them that Ms. ***********' staff offered me last month to legally enter a contract under another consultant as they should have been given with me when we were deceived by Mary Kay Director *********** ******. AS per Ms. ***********' kindly crafted words, should they call or email the Mary Kay Legal Department, will they be offered the same offer that I've been given? WE simply need to know what Mary Kay Corp is going to do with the three of us before they skillfully take us off the BBB platform. It is not fair nor legal to keep us from understanding what they are doing in our case and to simply go blindly back to more calls, more emails and more run around from the Mary Kay Legal Department as they have put me through for nearly six months now! They have wasted our time, money and our minds in all of this back and forth. Ms. *********** does this for a living. This is not Just, Legal, and it wreaks of disrespect for Public Rights. We simply need this security in writing via this trustworthy BBB platform. Ms. *********** is in full awareness of our Legal Rights. This cannot be simply swept under the carpet with nicely crafted email words by Ms. *********** without making the record straight as to what they've resolved for me and the other two victims in this Mary Kay recruitment fraud. Thank You so much BBB for keeping all parties Honest and Transparent. We so appreciate your diligence and help! Awaiting the answer from Ms. ***********..... Thank You, ***** ******* XXX-XXX-XXXX

I purchased or was gifted a total of five Mary Kay products. All were unsatisfactory, or did not perform to my expectaions. I returned all of the mentioned products at my own expense to the Mary Kay headquarters in Dallas, Texas with a letter explaining my situation. MK replied with a letter instructing me to call one of their representatives. I did so, only to be told that the company could not help me in any way with the return of these products, even though their brochures state that the MK products are unconditionally guaranteed. They said that I have to return them to a MK dealer. I could not do that because MK headquarters kept the products. I would not like to have the products replaced, as their performance was unsatisfactory.

There is no written return address and no postage stamp resulting for a return to sender for postage but no address. I did not order any mary kay products and yet I had to pay this package fee for postage stamps to figure out what it was and who sent it. This may or may not be fraud but this person has my address and may continue to send me packages like this so if I could prevent this somehow that would be great. I am just informing of this incident and hope to maybe figure out if a 3rd party is sending random things to people or if mary kay is at fault for this. I have a lot of packages coming in so this cause for me to be confused as to what this product was or why it has no information on there. Next time I won't accept the package but this was just an informational and experience complaint for any future references.

I was a consultant and sent $1376 worth or retail ($688 wholesale) worth of products back for repurchase and Mary Kay is trying to only give me back $477.38 and that's including tax. 90% of $688 is $619.20 so I will need Mary Kay to stop trying to scam me and send me all of my money back including tax. Any time I call they said someone will reach out to me but I still have yet to receive a call.

I had a Mary Kay beauty consultant reach out to me on Facebook to help her with a challenge she could win. She asked to purchase a product ranging from $10 and up and I purchased a brown mascara for $15. This was in September of 2021. I put the order and paid for the order the same today she sent me the bill, its been 3 month of no product receiving on my end. I contacted the Mary Kay customer service to explain everything for half an hour, the rep said she has to call the beauty consultant to see what happened, she called back and said oh the rep has mentioned we dont ship to PO BOXES!!! Then why didnt she try contacting the customer and actually communicate instead of making stories up about being sick but you have time to post of Facebook to attract new client?? Absolutely terrible customer service. I used to do Avon 12 years ago and I gave much better customer service than you people!!!

I signed on with MaryKay to be a consultant. I wanted my wife to help me also. Because my wife was a previous consultant they wanted me to resign after I bought 2 starter kits. I returned both the kits and got a refund, but I was also told when I spoke to someone on the phone that I could ask to be reimbursed for shipping them back. They will not acknowledge me on this and are harassing me! I spent $92.70 to send these kits back and I would like a refund!
