My daughter was to play her final year of select soccer career with Sting. This was done with complete confidence that the head coach, & asst coaches would remain for the entire season. This didn't occur.In the last part of the fall season coaching staff was removed via an administrative roster issue that Sting was aware of and took no responsibility. This all took place coincidentally right after our final payment for the entire select season was due. This was in Oct.The total dues amounted to $3450.50 not including the required $600 uniform pkg. The dues said that Sting would provide 2 players evaluations and additional conditioning sessions along with 2 practices per week. Neither of these were offered to us. Prior to the announcement that our team and all other teams brought to Sting by our coach had new coaches in Nov I had inquired why our team was not listed on the Sting website. I sent multiple emails and finally had a response that it was due to a website redesign. My follow up question was why other teams were listed just none of the teams that had previously been under SPTX. I called several times with no return calls. At that time my daughter was attending college ID camps and needed verification that she in fact played ECNL for STING. They never listed my daughter's information after paying thousands of dollar to STING. After announcing that our coach &staff had been removed we had no practice for an entire month which equated to 8 plus practices. Finally on 12/22 they held a webex in which all parents were muted and could not ask questions while they talked for a brief 4 minutes. Sting ruined my girls last year of competitive play and caused undue stress and anxiety. They would not release her while we paid $5k for basically 3 1/2 months of play. We are requesting at minimum half of our dues be refunded. They will never be able to repay what they took from our daughter. They ruined what should have been a fun year over money and not soccer
