      We booked a cruise with Xstream Travel (*****************************) May 2023 our first payment of 300. was May 9, 2023. My mother in law paid our deposit. We had until June 26, 2023 to cancel for a refund. I contacted Opal June 22, 2023 by text that I still have and canceled. Opal response was you would only get 200. back out your three hundred for a deposit (my mother in law paid). November 2023 I ask her about a refund she said there is no refund because we did pay one. The cruise line states she didn't cancel until August 14, 2023 a month later and that's the reason for the lost refund. She wasn't honest about pur money.

      Xstream Travel is a Travel Agent host company.  ********** the marketing websites, commission Tracking system and allow agents to use our buying power to get their clients better pricing. All of our Travel Agents (over *****) are independent contractors and work direct with the travel suppliers and their clients.  We do not handle any of the money for trips.  The independent Agents handle all deposits and payments direct with the travel suppliers.  The agents pay Xstream Travel a monthly fee for the tools ********** for their online sites and marketing.  Xstream Travel will reach out to this agent if she is still using our marketing tools and ask her to follow up with her client but we cannot make her give a refund.  That is between the Agent and their client.
