I took my Tucson to do an oil consumption test around Dec 2023. It fail! No surprise there! So they tell me that I need to show that I change my oil and until then. They will not do anything. They stamp my paperwork On Hold. In order to get my care fix, it falls on me but this is not about it burning oil. This is due to the high pressure fuel pump design that has fail on my car and other care with this motor and design. It’s junk! They know it and yet act like it’s something new or never heard of it. I told them that and they act like no it’s the oil change. Rude and with no care to fix it. It’s not holding the 2000 psi that it’s supposed to do. Didn’t offer to check it and see if that was the problem. I also had to replace my cat converter in July 2023 and that dealer in Lubbock didn’t say why it fail. I had to replace it. They know all this motors are having problems with this part and also eng failure by locking up. What a waste of money. They offer a 100000 miles warranty until they have to pay up. Simple items, they are more than happy to fix. Once the car is paid off they don’t care. They know it’s a one owner car and yet they act like I was the 2nd or 3rd owner. Can’t ever get a hold of anyone there, they want you to leave the car there all day even to change oil, never have a rental to use. The only good thing was the The shuttle driver! No more Hyundai and no more cars from that dealer even if it’s a Ford. Best thing you can do is take your business somewhere else. **** looks better right now and that’s not saying much.
