The information in this review is inaccurate. We DO offer massages, they just are booked completely for the foreseeable future; therefore, we told every person that purchased a gift card, that they will not be able to get in for a massage. Whether or not the message is relayed to the recipient, is a different story. We did not cancel massages in November. I have no idea where she got that idea. The client that posted this review had a dollar amount on her gift card. That dollar amount is for anything at Awaken, that you can get in for at the time the client desires. We do NOT sell gift cards for massages specifically, or any other service specifically. (we stopped doing that years ago). Gift cards are universal. Our website states that massages are booked completely. There is not a massage option on the online gift card portal. The client that posted this review, also used the gift card toward the service that she booked. She then asked to book a massage and we told her we are completely booked and we would not be able to get her in. At that point, she became upset. She was never booked for a massage or told she wouldn't be able to use her GC. She used it toward the service SHE booked on 2/13/24. Our refund policy is and has been posted on our website, online gift card portal, and in person at the front desk. We do not offer gift card refunds. We now are attaching it to the receipts as well. But this client used the gift card she received! I have talked to her and explained this to her, but she has her mind made up and has proceeded to go to every review outlet and post.
