    *** 2023 I signed a contract with ************************* at Express Baseball after discussing the Where When and How his teams had practices and games! He didn't stand by any of the items discussed and is sneaky in the wording of the contract that if things are not the same as discussed to bad!!!!! There were quite a few that were lied to just to get us to sign up and pay him in the amount of ***** dollars. I do not recommend putting your child on this program. He does not return phone calls and hides behind the computer not discussing the problems directly. I requested that my child be released from the contract due to wrong information given as false pretense to get you signed up.

    First, the contract you attached and signed clearly outlines your payment responsibilities, including the dates and amounts due. This was detailed and agreed upon at the time of registration. Please note that the location of games within the *** area is beyond our control, as tournament venues are determined by the organizers, not by our program.
    Throughout the season, I have interacted with you no fewer than twice a week via call, text, or email. I have consistently been transparent and accessible. Although I am the club administrator and not the coach of your son's team, I have always aimed to address your concerns in a timely and direct manner.
    It is also important to mention that there were times when you expressed dissatisfaction and suggested that a negative review would follow unless your demands were met. We cannot acquiesce to such demands, and I want to assure you that we provided more events than originally promised. I believe you were never misled about our services or the locations of the events, which were all held locally within ****

    This baseball program has charged me $3,487.71 in the past 8 months to play in 7 tournaments. That is roughly $500 per tournament per child. According to the tournament websites, it is a $350 per team entry fee. The coach canceled several practices and sat on his bucket and didnt coach the boys in the games. After leaving the program he still continues to try to take money out of my account and harassed me with generic emails about having my son tryout for the team. His organization is a joke and this isnt just 1 or 2 parents feeling this way. The team started with 14 boys and so many quit mid season they ended with only 7. And none are continuing in the Fall. But I am seeing complaints all over ******** about how many families have fallen victim to his program as well. I dont want any other family to try and do whats best for their boys by getting them into a select program just to have them feeling defeated and bank accounts empty. Please help us shut this company down!

    We sincerely apologize for the negative experience you claim to have had with our baseball program. However, we believe there might be some misunderstandings or inaccuracies in your BBB review, and we would like to address them accordingly.

    Firstly, regarding the tournament fees, our program operates on a comprehensive structure that includes various expenses such as equipment, coaching contractors, practice facilities, tournament fees, insurance, travel costs, and administrative fees. These factors contribute to the overall cost of participation. It would be extremely unfair to suggest that the tournament cost, all be it much more than was stated, would cover all the expenses associated with running our program.

    As for the canceled practices and coaching concerns, we take such matters seriously. While occasional cancellations due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances can occur, our coaching staff always strives to provide the best guidance and support to our players during games. We encourage open communication and would have appreciated direct feedback during the season, allowing us to address and rectify any concerns in a timely manner.  Unfortunately, you provided none as there were no such instances of cancelations except due to park closures which our club documents and informs parents of.

    Regarding the issue of ongoing payment attempts, we assure you that our billing processes are in line with industry standards. If there have been any errors or discrepancies, we are always happy to review your account to resolve the matter promptly. Upon review of your account we noticed there is actually an outstanding balance owed to the club, as well as pending disputes you have made with your credit card company.

    Regarding the team's participation and the number of players, it is not uncommon for sports programs to experience fluctuations in attendance throughout a season. However, we value each player's commitment and contribution, and we strive to create a positive and fulfilling experience for all participants. With that said, all of the schedule events have been played, and we did not participate in any such event with 7 players.

    We are beginning our 14th year as a Baseball Club and take pride in our baseball program and the positive experiences shared by many other families. We would like to extend an invitation to meet in person or have a phone conversation to address your concerns directly and find a satisfactory resolution.  I don't think your opinions were shared by the masses, and despite your review many players from this team are returning to the team and hundreds of other satisfied players.

    Express baseball is a select baseball organization that cons families out of money and has created a mlm scam that keeps you from getting out of a contract with small print and loopholes. Even after quitting the team we are still paying money because of a line in the contract that states we must cancel prior to ever seeing what our money has gotten us or otherwise we are on the hook for another 6 months. I ask for this business be looked into and investigated.

    The parent of this player attempted to quit a participation period 4 months into the period. Our simple 1-page contract (and any other team in the industry's contract) asks that players finish the season once its started.  This is because the funds are given to a team budget.  If one player doesn't contribute their agreed part, the other players on the team that do contribute would be penalized. This customer has demanded not only for us to cease charging him for the remaining portion of the participation period, but to reimburse & give him a full refund for the 4 months of service. Unfortunately, that would be stealing from the other kids which are honoring their commitments, and the club is unwilling to compromise the experience of the kids honoring their commitment.  Because the club didn't comply to this individuals ridicule, threats, defamatory comments & demands, this parent has sheepishly stooped to trying to hurt the clubs impeccable reputation, which has been in good standing with 13 years of serving our communities youth with tremendous success.

    We had recently moved to the DFW area and I had twin boys that had played Baseball on a select team were we moved from after trying out for the Express and *****************, We decided that the schedule there fit in best with the other sports the Boys played. After a little haggling over how to set up our account ****** said If You pick option 1 and the 12 month plan that would be least expensive and HE STATED HE would stop charging after the last tournament, He stated We would practice twice a week and have 9 tournaments through the summer with some of the best coaching staff available. WE practiced once a week and only played a total of 6 tournaments and had one coach typically at almost every tournament. maybe two. I am pretty sure if you asked all the parents this whole experience was a complete scam. After all this ****** charged Us the month after the season was over and had the ***** to write me a wise a** email about I should have read my contract. We had a verbal agreement due to the boys having Highschool football that when ****** would come he would stop stealing My money. This Guy should be ashamed of himself and anyone who attaches their name to this origination should beware. Until this is rectified I will continue to speak out so other families wont get taken by this con man.

    The players registering for our club have 3 options when registering.  Option 1 is a full year.  Option 2 is a single season.  Option 3 is a full year.  The prices reflect which option the player registers for.  In this case, the player registered for Option 1.  The player completed the season and has since sent several threatening e-mails to our Club demanding a refund for games his children participated in without complaint. He has assured us he will continue making defamatory statements about our club if we do not abide by his demands. (Please see attached e-mails). I have attached the contract which will show that the player is registered for the entire year.  The customer has not made their payments and is behind.  The customer owes the club $1330.56 for their two boys.

    I am rejecting this response because: When We signed up for the plan I was told by Mr **** to select the 1 year plan and he would discontinue it after the summer season. This was due to having two Boys ( Twins) on the team. I had read a complaint from a past players parent and they described the team as a money grab. This is when I reached out to Mr. **** to assure We wouldn't have these problems as it was known that Our boys played Highschool football and hockey. He once again assured me that My best route was the year commitment and it would cancel at the end of the summer league. As far as the fact that I did not complain through the season even know it was nothing as they told me it would be I figured at least it would be over soon. There were multiple times when there was only one coach present and The level of coaching was basically non-existent but at least they were playing is how I looked at it. For one of the last torment's they actually brought in players from another team and had a few of the Boys teammates sit on the bench which I am sure the other parents were not happy with. I am not asking for a refund of the whole season just the month of August When We were done playing which I was told verbally ********** that it should have been cancelled by then. As far as the quality of the team, they went the whole season not even being competitive against their opponents. So all in all this was one of the worst decisions We have made and would encourage others to do their homework before entering into anything with this organization.

    Very difficult to respond as most of the customers statements are simply untrue.  The conversation he describes never happened. There were 2 paid coaches which is industry standard. Both had college baseball playing experience, and previous coaching experience. We returned many kids from the team and did not receive any complaints from other members on the team. The customers son played on a 15u team & played at the highest level available locally. Everything was carried out as planned and agreed. This customer seems to not understand anything about the sport, what he agreed to, or what industry standard expectations he should expect. We have an onboarding call with new players we invite to go over these expectations, its unfortunate the customer didnt enjoy the team, but that doesnt excuse him from honoring agreement to the club & contractors. While the customer is free to go to another team, he is not entitled to his money back for the season his kid participated in or entitled to publicly defame the club with misleading or fraudulent slander about our club.

    We where charged for Summer and Fall 2022 on Nov 2021 without giving consent for Express Baseball Club to use my Discover Card. I filed a dispute on November 1, 2021 with Discover ($3,858.15) because I was unaware of the charge. When we played with Express Baseball Club in 2021 I gave approval to use a **** card. I have attempted to have the price adjusted due to my son only playing Summer not Fall but *************************, with Express Baseball, says my son has zero ($0) dollars going toward the team fees (last on May 20, 2022). We now what to move on and receive a refund but when I requested ****** have a three way call with Discover and myself I have not heard anything back from him. I am out of $3,858.15 and my son will miss Summer ******** baseball because of all of this as he is not on the a roster

    ****************** registered his son to participate in our service (a select baseball season).

    ***************** then filed a chargeback in an attempt to recover his funds prior to the season.  ******** responded to that chargeback, and after his card holder reviewed the transaction they determined that it was a valid charge and awarded the 3.8k back to the club.

    Unfortunately, prior to the funds being awarded back to the club ****************** filed a separate chargeback for the same amount requesting a different amount.  That chargeback is pending.  

    Interference of any type with payment, coupled with the funds being withdrawn from the clubs account during investigation/arbitration means that the club is not paid, and at risk of never being paid until ****************** calls his bank and tells them that the charges were valid.

    Anytime a player is delinquent of payment for any reason, they are not permitted to use the service we offer.

    ****************** has included our communication of this matter to him, so I will not.  I will simply include a copy of his contract with the club & proof of the chargeback still pending.
