Purchased home in 2021. Submitted our home warranty claim on 1/13/2022, before our one year anniversary. Multiple issues were reported. ***** from Antares came to our home on 2/10/22 and fixed a couple of issues such as the garage door, and broken tile. He then came again a few months after to check the roof and stated he would be back. That was the last we heard from Antares. During this time we were dealing with the birth of our twins, and felt secured that we had reported the issues and Antares would be communicating with us. I assumed the tickets were still open, since we hadn't been told otherwise and issues were not completed. Now I am being told that too much time has gone by, and my warranty has not lapsed. I explained that the issues were reported on time and Antares did not fix them. They stated it was my fault because I didn't communicate with them letting them know that the issues weren't completed. But they didn't notify me that the tickets were being closed, so I assumed they were still working on it. I asked them for documentation of where they notified me the issues were fixed, or paperwork proving they fixed the issue and they are stating they are not required to do so.Initial Complaint

We bought a model home from Antares in June 2024, 6 1/2 months ago, we've just discovered a leak in the pipe, leaking all over the garage floor, we contacted them for a repair and they said we bought the house as it, which is true, but you expect a new home built in 2022 and never lived in until now to last a little longer than 6 months before major problems begin. Apparently they are careless and do below average work on the homes they build, I would not recommend Antares to build any homes, and certainly would never buy another Antares home again. Please put the word out buyer beware, it'll cost more than the price of the house. We had to pay a plumber $3,600.00 for shoddy workmanship, according to 3 different plumbers, and of course we were out more money for sheet rock, tile, and painting. I feel at the very least Antares should reimburse us for the money we were out.**** *****Initial Complaint

I am a homeowner with a property built by Antares Homes. Since moving into my home, I have experienced ongoing plumbing issues in the secondary bathroom. Despite multiple visits from plumbers, the problem has persisted.Recently, plumbers discovered that the issue stems from the use of a half ****** beneath the toilet, which was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. The half ****** has caused repeated blockages and waste overflows, rendering the toilet unusable since September 2024.The plumber informed me that the use of a half ****** in a new build is highly unusual and inappropriate. As a result, the toilet will continue to malfunction unless the plumbing is repaired.I am requesting that Antares Homes:Repair the plumbing in the secondary bathroom to correct the issue caused by the half ******.Replace the tile flooring that will be damaged during the plumbing repair ********** the builder of a new home, Antares Homes is responsible for ensuring that all systems are properly installed and functional. The plumber assured me that I should not experience such issues in a newly constructed home. The estimated cost of plumbing repairs and retiling is several thousand dollars. However, as this defect originated from the construction process, I believe Antares Homes should cover the cost.Initial Complaint

We purchased a new built home from Antares on the 9th of September 2022. We had a couple issues the paint and sink, which the builder corrected very fast. Our latest issue is with the brick and stone work at the front of the house, entry way. The mortor was obviously mixed incorrectly and is now starting to crack away from the stones and ************ is unsightly and stands out because it is the very entry into the house. This is not just a couple places, it is all over. The warranty folks say it must seperate 1/8 of an inch before they will respond. 1/8 of an inch and these stones will fall off the wall. I think it is poor workmanship and should be repaired by the builder. Apparently their concrete workers donot understand concrete very well as is also evident in the numerous slab cracks as well. I don't think I would purchase from Antares again.Initial Complaint

I bought an Antares Home March*****. I have turned in ***************************** March *****- 3 have been completed. They tell you to turn in before your year is up to get items fixed and we are still dealing with these problems with no response. I turned them in again in Oct 2022 and no response.-My soap dish in master bath shower is broke and I turned it in the first week we moved in and was told to wait as you only get 1 repair for tile and chances are you will have more issues. We put silicone around it so that water would get behind the wall and cause more damage, turned a ticket in again in March 2023 and it still needs to be repaired -Missing cement mortar around our brick outside -Wood floors are popping -Front door has a crack and peeling -Numerous sheetrock issues where there are holes. -Door k**** broke On these request no response, so I turned them in again in Jan-2023 still no response. I reached out to the warranty department and no response. Have texted numerous times warranty / service and no response.Initial Complaint

We purchase a home from Antares Homes in June and quickly found numerous items to needed repaired or replacement. We filed two warranty reports for these items in July. We have had nothing resolved and have been given the run around by their warranty department. These are the items and problems we need resolved:- Our master tub has a large crack. The crack is hard to see unless you are right over it. We know that the crack had to be there at the time we closed or the tub was improperly installed because we have not used the tub or been in it other than when we had to clean up a large ant infestation in the tub. This is when we noticed the crack. Their warranty department says it is not their responsibility since we did not notice it prior to closing on the home.- We have two dead trees that died less than a month after we moved in despite us watering the yeard every night during this time. They refuse to replace the trees because of the weather conditions from this summer being extreme.-The sprinkler system does not cover the yard to water properly and some sprinkler heads are not set correctly. There are also exposed hoses from the sprinkler system on top of the lawn. They have not addressed this at all.-I mentioned the ant infestation earlier and we paid $300 to resolve this becuase we could not wait for their response. Our entire master bedroom closet and bathroom were covered with ants. They obviously do nothing to their new homes to prevent this.-Lastly, we have a piece of molding that fell off the kitchen cabinets the first day we were in the house when we opened a drawer. To this point, they have not resolved this and we are approaching 3 months.Initial Complaint

For the last year, we have had ongoing issues with Antares Homes to professionally repair our ceiling between the Breakfast nook/family room. For a year, ***** in warranty explained that it would be fixed when the drywall company came back to complete the tub repair. The drywall company came to complete the work in April, but our ceiling was not repaired. ***** has now refused to answer calls, and I sent communication to several administrators in Antares Homes 9 days ago, and no one has responded via email or phone. This has been ongoing since last May 2021. We would like to have our ceiling repaired as promised, so that we can move on. It is NOT a cosmetic issue that resulted over time. It is an issue that was created by the unprofessional Antares Homes contractor repair from the ceiling beam drooping down and a noticeable indentation across the ceiling. The repair left a complete PATCH in the ceiling as shown in the pictures that needs to be professionally fixed. Antares Homes should be held responsible for improperly repairing our ceiling. Again, there has yet to be contact from Antares Leadership to address this matter and resolve appropriately. Their employee, *****, promised they would get it fixed, so it needs to be fixed. Pictures and email correspondence are attached.Business Response
