Cannot agree more with the 1-star reviews on here. Do yourself a favor and get an inspection before you move in. Got our inspection before the 1-year issue submission date was reached. We got *************************************************************Some fun highlights these last 2 years: Water leakage that soaked the drywall in the garage and the ceiling and wall that fell all over my car. Two repairs on shower pan in the primary bath; waiting for the 3rd time - tear the whole thing out and re-build the shower. The sub-floor on the second level was attached with finishing nails and had a 1.5in slope. We are now going through a HUGE gut job across the kitchen and living area to install a 1500lb steel c-channel to support the weight of the failing structure. There are at least 6 switches that even the inspector couldn't figure out what they control. First fix on one of the bedroom doors was to saw the bottom off at an angle and change the hinges. So now it closes, but looks like you're entering into a fun house. Maybe they were trying to mask the slope of the floor by making the door level with that? RUN fast and far from this builder. If you don't and purchase from them I suspect they will only do right by the purchaser if you get lawyers involved. Other issues (NOT INCLUSIVE OF ALL ISSUES IDENTIFIED):Foundation movement beyond normal tolerances: uneven floors, cracked drywall, misaligned ************* roof fasteners, damaged shingles, and missing flashing.Roof rafters pulling away from the ridge board.Poor attic ventilation and insulation.Drywall damage, cracked floors, uneven second-story floor.Doors not closing properly, water intrusion around windows.HVAC system with damaged fins and poor ******************* issues with the shower, countertops, and hot water delays.Electrical issues: no surge protector, unmarked wires, and improper GFCI protection.Various defects in flatwork, fireplaces, and stairs.

The Robertsons house was built per the approved architectural plans and is still under warranty which we are currently in the process of honoring.  Kindred Homes and our subcontractors have been working with the homeowner to get the necessary repairs done in a timely manner.  We aim to deliver a great experience and are disappointed when we dont meet expectations.  Its unfortunate that the Robertsons gave a low review rating as we have honored our commitment to correct the issues.

Yes, warranty work is on-going and issues are being corrected. However, the fact that a brand new build has had as many issues as this house is the driver for the raiting. Not how the company is handling work that should not have been needed in the first place.

We can absolutely agree, and it is unfortunate.  We understand that it is not ideal that a builder should have to return to a finished home to make such repairs. With understanding and closely listening to the homeowner's concerns, we gave the matter our upmost attention. While the original engineering plan and designs were followed, inspected and approved, we felt it was necessary to stand behind our commitment in resolving our clients concerns. With the assistance of engineers, several trade professionals and our dedicated customer service department, the engineered repair detail was successfully implemented, inspected and the home restored to fulfill our service commitment concerning this matter.  We deeply apologize to the ********* family or any inconvenience and dissatisfaction they felt in our failing to meet their expectations. We hope that we have earned their trust back while working with our customer service team during this process. Our service commitment to the ********* family still remains, and we thank them for allowing us this opportunity.

We moved into our Kindred Home a bit over a year ago and weve been so happy. We had 2 minor issues shortly after moving in, and both were addressed in a matter of about 2-3 days. It took a little longer to build than expected but thats the way things were during the pandemic and all, so that wasnt really an issue. Our builder and sales associate constantly kept us updated and addressed any concerns along the way. We couldnt be happier with our build experience with Kindred and ultimately our wonderful dream home! Thank you Kindred Homes!!!

Our experience with Kindred was totally amazing! The sales team was on point and provided answers to each of our questions. The construction superintendent was ahead of the game every step of the way! Im a realtor and Kindred was my top choice to build our dream house! I give the a five because I cant give them a 6!

I purchased a home that never should have passed any inspection. Hidden holes in the concrete. Then they broke in my home trying to fix it. The patio grill was never installed just there with no electrical lines no outlet no hole in bricks to even connect the grill to. During the holidays and my absence they broke in my home again trying to repair it by cutting the holes of two walls. Today I found this out. Although I do have a video of the bottom grill wall on 10-26-22. The attic stairs. They never touched the floor. Disregard the license state inspector. House bricks standing inches from the foundation.Upstairs floor very weak. Entry bricks of home is the worst Ive ever seen. Bulging walls and outside bricks. No drainage although drainage pipes installed in concrete wall with bricks by kindred homes. Garage door fail on my car because it wasnt on any stud. During the coldest week the heating unit started tripping because it was connected to a 30 amp wire instead of a 50 amp wire. We had no heat otherwise could have burned the house down. My 5 yr old granddaughter and I.no racks in closets. Fireplace sticking out from wall. The Media outlet wasnt installed in the media panel. They drill holes through my bricks and walls. $700,00 at the end of the day. Ripoff. The first break in into my home was about the hidden under the carpet sinkhole in my master bedroom concrete floor. After notifying the City they sent a floor guy out to observe it. A big 8+ hole with plaster in it was discovered under my carpet. The Earth under it. The thought of what could possibly come up through it traumatized me. They broke in and put some powder like substance over it. They also left the intruder DNA on my floor and wall. I filed a police report. The stress is unbearable and no one should have to endure this from a New Build home. How did it pass inspection is what everyone wants to know?? Four reasons (not a pass) was just listed. #2 break in was the patio grill wall holes today

My husband and I purchased our Kindred Homes almost 2 years ago. I can honestly say we are In love with our home. The build time was slower than I had wanted but it was all worth it at the end. Builder and sales person was very helpful thru the process from the beginning to the end. We love the quality and craftsmanship of our home. Will definitely refer kindred to friends and family. 5 star!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4_q6x2yR60&ab_channel=FOX4Dallas-********* These yahoos should be investigated and shut down... not to mention jail time for the scam they are pulling... their lawyers should be ashamed of themselves for writing such predatory contracts... using other people's hard earn money to build only to finance their construction, then cancel and sell at a higher price... hope the housing market collapses... oh it already did...

I made a purchase in 04/21. 2 current issues. Since then my driveway is broken not cracked after placing s vehicle on it and apparently is not under warranty. Concrete is only 3 1/2 inches thick and it should be at least 4. Also, 2nd story creaks. It has been attempted to fix once and was told they fixed it on e snd will not do it again even if under warranty. This is ridiculous!!!! Buyer beware this company cuts corners and buyer pays for it. This is not my first new build but first poor constructed new build.
