One of my friends gave me the social media contact of one Follyjay logistics company in *****. My friend mentioned the company ships food items to ******* from *******. On November 26, 2022, I contacted Follyjay logistics company (a woman is the owner of the company), and I was given a list of approved items that can be shipped into ***. With this list, I contacted my parents in ******* to get all the things I needed, including food items such as a 50kg of garri (cassava flakes), noodles, nlyon, Crayfish, ***** (Yam flour), Maggi, 10 litres of palm oil, clothes, Aboniki balm, face towel. All these items weighed about 105kg and was taken to Follyjays logistics company in *****, ******* (their supposed branch in *******) on May 5 2023. I paid ***** ******* Naira for shipping, and I was issued a receipt. I was told that the goods will arrive in 3-6 months. On July 24, 2023, Follyjay logistics company in the ** reached out to me that my goods have arrived in the ** and that I am to pay clearance fee of 90 cent per kg. I asked if I could pay immediately but I did not get any response. On October 24, 2023, she reached out to me and said the goods has been certified for release from the port and packed into a warehouse and that I should pay the clearance fee within 3 days. My husband immediately transferred 100 USD to her zelle on October 25, 2023 and she acknowledged the receipt. Thereafter, I asked how I would my goods delivered to my home address in the ** and she said one of her employees would deliver to my home via **** However, I did not hear from any of her employees. I would call and send messages to her via WhatsApp but she would not pick my call nor would she reply my messages. This put a lot of emotional and mental stress on me. I created a shipping label and schedule pickup by UPS agent for delivery on November 27, 2023. I sent the shipping label to her, and she acknowledged the receipt of the shipping label. Till now I have not received my goods.
