On Friday, February 23, 2024, I telephoned Medical Coding Academy and spoke with *****. I explained that I wanted to fund the Online Medical Coding course for my adult son and I needed the details of how to go about that as their online signup doesnt facilitate for the student to be different from the payee for billing and mailing address, etc. I live in NV and my son lives in MI. I further asked her if she could confirm that their sale for $400 off the course would still be available to us and she said YES, text her my son's information and he will get a confirmation email with a link to pay for the course. ***** indicated she would authorize the $400 discount if I paid by the following Monday.On Sunday, February 25, 2024, I sent her a text with the information as requested. Her reply: Hi, okay. Sounds good. Please direct your email to ************************************** Let them know you will be paying for your son. All inclusive and ask about the $400 off. On Monday, February 26, 2024, I sent the email as instructed by *****. The response was that the $400 off was for the non all inclusive course option. I explained that ***** had approved the $400 off and I also provided a copy of the ad from their ******** page where it specifically states, *All other credential courses are valid for $400 off with payment in full!.Weve exchanged more than 16 emails. This business refuses to honor their verbal promise and their published ad. They claim it doesnt mean all courses rather only those listed in the ad. The ad specifically states all courses paid in full get $400 off, not just those listed in the ad. The ad provides links to the company website further indicating all courses the company offers can receive $400 off. The ad does not say exclusions apply. I am asking to receive the $400 off the All Inclusive Course paid in full course. It is normally $2522.31, with the discount it should be $2122.31. Please see ad attached. Thank you.
