1 starI went to Frank **** to purchase a 2024 Cadillac CT5 that was a color oF Mystic Red with *************************************** the sales add it had no damage. The vehicle on a Saturday and ended up returning the vehicle on the following Monday morning. I discovered on Saturday evening that the car had hail damage which was not disclosed by the saiesman nor finance. Upon return no one apologized for the error they offered to fix the damage, but not bring down the cost of the vehicle. I spoke to the assistant general manager and he said we do discount cars with hail damage. The were not really willing compensate me a customer with a 828 credit score and approval from his employee or pre-approval from a credit union. I cancelled the contract due to the unprofessional practice. Also, spoke to another gentlemen while waiting on finance to come. If this is how dealerships behave with a good customer. I hate to see what happens to others.Review fromFM Y

1 starI was planning a trip to ***** to buy a vehicle and decided to look into Frank Kent Cadillac based on ****** search engine. However, after reading numerous reviews, I strongly advise against doing business with them. Most reviews highlight similar issues: cars being returned with unresolved problems, overcharging customers, and generally poor service. Moreover, Frank Kent Cadillac's responses to negative reviews are extremely unprofessional. Their replies on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website are particularly concerning. It seems they have received eight complaints in the past 12 months and hold an F rating with the BBB, which is alarming. Many customers have reported receiving misinformation about warranties and being treated poorly. It almost seems like a scam because the negative experiences are so consistent. I also reached out to some recent reviewers, and their feedback was similarly negative.Based on this, I would not recommend Frank Kent Cadillac. Please read the reviews carefully and take them seriously as they reflect the consistent experiences of multiple customers.Review fromReginald M

Reached out to Frank Kent Cadillac for service to my 2009 Cadillac CTS back in December of 2023. I needed position sensors for my camshaft and timing belt replacement. I added lower front control arms and a window regulator for my front passenger side. They inspected my vehicle and said a motor replacement was needed and a new transmission. I prepaid ***** dollars towards the repair of my lower control arms and front passenger window regulator because they were not going to service my engine unless I was purchasing a new or used one. They led me on for months with repairs while my car set in their back service parking lot till April of 2024. I made a trip to the dealership to check the status of my vehicle nothing was done. They only made attempt to fix my car because I was present at the dealership asking for my money back for time wasted and several attempts for them to provide parts that I couldve purchased myself for the to service. Due to there negligence they gave me a new problem that my car never had which was an OBD trouble code which complicates my car security system to where my car will not start with out an alternative power source (a jump)while my car sat in the elements with the passenger window down in there back lot. My bank had to retrieve my funds from Frank **** through a filing dispute that took over a month and a half to get re credited back to my account because ******************** **** **** about my money being deposited within 7-10 business days from the refund. They had no intention on returning my money to me due to the tumultuous relationship that has developed in other business dealings with them to where they used and took advantage of my business along in the process of getting my car repaired.Frank Kent Cadillac of Arlington

My name is ****** and I am 72 years old. I would like to describe the horrible experience I have recently had with Frank Kent Cadillac service department. On March 4th I had another mechanic replace the ignition coil and spark plugs on the vehicle which cost $888.62. When I took it to Frank Kent Cadillac the next day, March 5th they examined the vehicle and indicated there was $3,234.49 in repairs and maintenance needed. They also indicated the ignition coil needed to be replaced even though it had just been replaced. They also indicated that an Engine Control Module Software Update was needed, which was $370.31. However, they did not mention anything about the Engine Control Module needing to be replaced, yet after the work had been done on March 18th they came back and said that it would need to be replaced which would cost an additional $1,257.58, which I paid. On March 18th they said I owed $4,111.06 but then on March 22nd said it would be $4,167.55, which I paid. Then on March 25th they said the car would need ********************** and the spark plugs changed, even though they had just been replaced on March 4th. This cost me an additional $633.02.The engine light is still on, despite me spending $4,800.57 to repair the vehicle. I feel that the car has not been repaired to my satisfaction and I feel that this dealership has taken advantage of my age, forgetfulness, and lack of knowledge and convinced me to spend money on items that I dont even know are needed or for work that had already been performed. This type of behavior is illegal and immoral. They have violated the ***** Deceptive Trade Practices Act and I believe have engaged in *************** Abuse. I feel to resolve my complaint the dealership should refund me $1,030.24 which is what they charged me to replace the ignition coil and spark plugs that had already been replaced, as well as have the engine light that keeps coming on turned off.Frank Kent Cadillac of Arlington

from my service manager:
This is false and complete nonsense because I personally spoke to, ********************** in my office over 30 minutes about his vehicle and the repairs needed. He used ****** to pay for the repairs, so he knew exactly what he was doing. We had a detailed conversation about him being retired, on a fixed income and not wanting to buy a new vehicle because he did not want a car payment. How should I handle this considering he went to the BBB because I know without a doubt, I explained everything to him in detail which was the same things **** and ***** told him. He was upset because we would not give him another loan vehicle because he took our vehicle out of town and when we called him about it he said the vehicle was at home, once we shared we could see where the vehicle was, he then said he only drove it there but didnt drive it while he was there and we did have his approval to track the vehicle while he had it.

1 starDo not recommend! We actually purchased a Cadillac from this dealer. We had our own financing. Day 1, had a flat tire on the way home. Day 3, had engine problems. Fast forward to today, over a month and we have yet to get our car even registered. Our finance company has literally told us we will get charged a new interest rate and new credit check; simply because this dealership did not do their job! Yet, they have refused to help or call us back! Better business bureau will be updated immediately. This is how you treat veterans!Review fromChristie J

1 starI went with my Father to check on my xt4 in Arlington on 01/13/2024. As I showed in around in there loaner I was approached by a salesman **** who I told that my husband was working with someone already but I was just looking before I took the loaner to wash it due the rain storm we had got. He told me he could have it washed, very nice if him. I stepped into his office while he tried looking for my xt4 & said he couldn't find it. He stepped out & so did I looking for the nice lady ******** who was dealing with my repair. I asked her if she remembered the person ***** was working with & she told me. So when **** found me I told him, he said ok as he took me back to his office then said he would try to help & left me again. I don't like being left so I walked off looking around & came across him with his sales manager *********. I told him that ***** was working with a salesman and he could look into it. Then as ******** walked by he spoke loud enough for my heard of hearing dad to walk back over. Now what came out his mouth was OH SHE LIKES TO GIVE SALES TO HER PEOPLE ?? WELL WHO IS HER PEOPLE ??. Then he proceeded to tell me how the new salesman has so much history in sales blah blah blah. Then went on to tell me how OUR PEOPLE HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER... HUH...I asked him what he ment by that & he said to get you in a vehicle. I was at loss for words as my husband is a black man but wasn't with me. I was extremely disappointed & uncomfortable as this is my 1st time dealing with Frank Kent *********************** I was upset for everyone of a different race even myself because I'm fair skin but im ************* had no clue. Poor *************************** never heard ********************* was just that A TEAM & SEEMS LIKE FAMILY BACK THERE. ********* would stop me from sending anyone there. I have no complaints about ***************. I don't know if this man thought he was joking but it was really racist the way he said it.I hope & pray they do better.Review fromJason S

1 starI took my Cadillac to Frank Kent Cadillac of Arlington to have my alternator replaced which took 4 days I believe and it was completed. I picked my Cadillac up and got a mile and a half down the road and my car temperature jumped up to 260 degrees I immediately pulled of the road and called them what happened and I was told to call a wrecker or drive it back which of course could have destroyed the engine. I called a mobile mechanic and he found that my antifreeze was almost empty. He couldn't find any leaks in the system and put a gallon of antifreeze in my car. And also showed me where there was a wrench and cigarette **** laying on my windshield cowling I never had any over heating issues before and one of there recommendation was a radiator flush and I told them just fix the alternator. I haven't had a single overheating issue since. I have no evidence to prove what I believe they did to my car but it was the worst experience I've ever had with a dealership do not take your vehicle there for service or you might end up with more issues than you went for.Review fromKathy R

1 starMy 2010 Cadillac SRX had a safety recall repair pending. I made an online appointment yesterday which offered a pick-up service for my vehicle. I work nearby and was pleased that the repair could be done conveniently while I was at work. I set the appointment for 7 am, which was offered on their site. I received a text confirmation. I was in my office parking lot at 6:45 am. At 7:03 am I texted the number that provided the appointment confirmation. No response was received. I waited in my vehicle until 7:15 am. At 7:41 am I received a response advising me of the dealership's address. I responded at 7:43 am advising that I requested my vehicle be picked up which is a service offered on THEIR website by THEM. It is now 11:07 am and I have received no further response or explanation. Very poor customer service experience! Since it was a recall repair there was no financial benefit to them and therefore no reason to treat me or my time with respect. Or at least that is my take away. I will seek another location to get the recall handled.
