I am the business owner on record for our Christmas Tree Farm. I was gone and my husband opened a letter and was confused. He called the number given and thought that this was about his ******** was actually about the ******# for our business dump truck. They told him our number needed to be updated. Whoever was on the other end talked my husband into paying $`189.00 to update our ****** number that was already updated in February of this year. You don't have to pay to update your DOT number and this business is constantly sending me e-mails and letters. I have send 3 e-mails back to this company with no response asking for a refund of our money. This company prays on people and my husband does not deal with any business dealings and they took advantage of him.

******************************* from FSCG called me early January while I was on the road saying my MCS150 biennial update was due and "ASAP it needed to be completed to ensure my ***** number was not deactivated and if so civil penalties of up *****. per day not to exceed $10,000." She also said her company had done this for us before. She took my credit card # and was sending something to sign. When I talked to my wife she said she does it and we do not have to even pay to do it and it was not due until the end of March.. We tried calling the credit card company to cancel but the gal we got to help seemed to think they could stop it but several days later we got a letter from them asking for more information. We have not sent them more information because until last Thursday were hopeful that FSCG was in the process of crediting us back but as of last Thursday it has not been done. It may have been January 6th or 7th that she called me. We got Hello sign documents to sign on January 10th and January 21st at which times we tried contacting ******** to tell her we did not need her services and would not be signing. We were unable to reach anyone. Our credit card was charged ****** on January 11th and with that charge is the phone # ************ that I actually reached ******** on March 11th . She said she had passed the case on to her supervisor to credit us back. I 1st Emailed her at **************************** on January 21st, February 16th and the last time April 3rd.
