    Penny Paws in *********, ** is where my dog **** was receiving care. **** is no longer going to Penny Paws. **** broke his leg on Sept. 10, 2023. Emergency Animal Clinic of ********* said his bandage on his leg (splinted) be changed on a weekly basis. Penny Paws re-bandaged **** on three occasions. I have attached the invoices/payment receipts. I asked that Penny Paws remove his bandage on the 4th visit. I had a funny feeling, and it turns out that I was right. I ended up having to board **** at ******* Animal Hospital. ****** leg was not healing correctly. He had open wounds on his leg that Penny Paws never addressed. How in the *************** can someone re-bandage his leg on a weekly basis and NOT see that he has open wounds? His leg was never shaved as well, and that hindered his wounds healing, which made his condition worse. I left a message Penny Paws for ******, the Vet Mgr. at Penny Paws to contact me. *****, the Assistant Mgr. contacted me, said I refused to allow them to re-bandage ****** legs, and I told her that I did the right thing. I asked her to have ****** call me. ****** never called me back. This was over a month ago. Penny Paws was negligent providing **** with the care for his broken leg. I ended up spending $1655.00 for his care at ******* for the the remainder of our time in *****. His re-bandaging at Penny Paws was over $79.00 a pop, and it was detrimental to his recovery. I have attached all of the documents related to ****** re-bandagings.. Also, every time that I called Penny Paws to have ****** medications refilled, it was never addressed, and I would have to call again. They were not doing their jobs! I spoke with ***** about it once, and it didn't change.Their negative reviews are very frightening, Penny Paws ********* needs to be investigated. I moved back to ****** on November 19th, but I will continue this fight for ****. Penny Paws Vets ******************* DVM, ************************* DVM, ***************************
