I contacted Whirlpool Air filters on September 29th, 2022 to order air filters and air Pre-filter. I was on the phone for 20 minutes with the *** who asked me information such as name, phone #, address, items to be ordered for my HOME..... Then as we were completing the transaction she asked 'out of the blue' "Do you have a PayPal account? I said yes for my business. She responded with " If you have a PayPal account you must pay by PayPal and you must order yourself on line. I cannot complete the transaction on your behalf." I stated that my PayPal account was for my business and the purchase I was making was for my home and I did not want to mix the two. She said I cannot help you any further, However I can have management contact you. I received a general form letter email of apology on September 30th, I responded by informing them I would take my business elsewhere, which I did. I purchased through Amazon and promptly received my order. Then I received my October credit card bill to find that I was charged by Whirlpool for $115.99 for an unauthorized purchase AND they NEVER sent me any merchandise for this charge. I called Whirlpool on November 1st and spoke to a rep AND sent an email on October 28th to make them aware of this error. To date I have not heard from Whirlpool. They are not making any effort to correct teh situation. I filed a complaint with PayPal and contacted my credit card company earlier this month (November).
