This company has repeatedly ignored my attempt to resolve my payment issues on the portal. I have always paid my rent on time if not early. My roommate had *** Echeck bounce and the manager decided to restrict out account and only let us pay via money orders. (Very inconvenient). On Nov 1 and multiple times after I have emailed about my account and no response. I have lived here over a year and a half and have never missed or had a late payment.Initial Complaint

I, ***************************, was a resident of this apartment from 09/21/2021 - 08/21/2022. Through my stay here, they caused me multiple problems. To start, when I signed for a lease, my friend and I opted in for female only living. And we both had a cat. we walked into see two dogs it was a shock, mainly because we were told the was a limit of 2 person per unit. We were able to resolve this issue but apparently they made a mistake on our second lease that we signed. As I said before we opted in for female living only, but we were assigned a male roommate. When they told us they were assigning us new roommates and one was a male it was very upsetting to say the least. Fortunately the male that was assigned to us was kind enough to say he wasn't comfortable living with us, and he was assigned to a different unit. This brings me to my last problem. I decided to not renew my lease. The move out process was easy but the person i originally moved in with left a mess in her room, while me on the other had cleaned mine, along with the living area. But for some reason I was listed as room C but was given the key to A. And charged for the mess and damages my roommate left in her room. I contacted the complex as soon as I saw these charges and told them that this was the room my roommate was staying it therefore her mess and damages. I sent them proof that I was staying in room A and showed them evidence of that claim. I assumed the issue was resolved but on, January 18th 2023 they sent a letter of debt collection notice. This issue is entirely theirs and their problem for messing up our file. I want a correction to the charge, and the credit report, so this doesn't effect my cosigner credit.Initial Complaint

Upon move out me and many other residents were charged with a $150 bathtub resurfacing fee. I thought this charge was suspicious. It would seem weird to me if every single person who moved out of the building this year somehow managed to crack their bathtub. I think something else is going on and that these fees are just trying to take advantage of us and ***** money for no reason. We all have pictures of our bathtubs and they are not damaged.Initial Complaint

I'd like to report some suspicious fines I and others have received after moving out of The Estates At East Riverside Apartments. I am being charged a bathtub resurfacing fee of $150 for a bathtub that did not have any cracks in it when I moved out. I have photos of the bathroom and you cannot see any cracks or damage to the tub. I know this same fee was charged to others and it seems like they are trying to take advantage of people.Initial Complaint

Hello I would like to report a business that is dealing shady fines upon its tenants. I lived at the estates at east riverside, I moved out and am trying to be charged a resurfacing fee for a bathtub. At first I found this odd as there are no cracks in the tub then multiple tenants I know at these apartments received the same charge. It be funny that many bathrooms at one complex would need resurfacing for a $150 dollar fee. Please reach out if this is something you can help with as I can blatantly see this is a shady business practice conducted by a run down business trying to take advantage of people.
