I bought a backpack at whole provisions ** and took it out that evening camping down at the bayou with my dogs. While hiking to get to our location the shoulder strap on the backpack broke. The next day I cleaned it up as well as I **uld and took it back to exchange it. They didnt have anymore like that one so I requested a refund. The manager came up and proceeded to look at the backpack and issued the refund back to my Apple Pay. A week later when I had not received the refund I emailed their customer service and had to leave a message for them to give to the manager. The next day I received an email from the manager that said they rescinded the refund because the backpack was dirty and I would have to **ntact the manufacturer for warranty issues. I emailed her back but never got a response so I **ntacted customer service again who passed on the info to the director of store operations who told me through email that the reason I did not get the refund is because the backpack I returned was not the one I purchased the day before. So she accused me of fraud. After a few weeks of back and forth emails she notified me that I would be getting a refund check in the mail, but she still had questions for me. I said kind be glad to answer anything you need. A few days later the check came and I cashed it and went to their store to spend the refund on a back pack as was originally intended. I was there for about 10 minutes when a gentleman came up and asked me if my name was ***** andnifninwas the guy who returned the backpack. I said that I was and he then said well you cant be here you e been banned from our stores. My manager told me that you had been informed of this and to call the police if you dont leave. I told him I hadnt been informed and I left without causing a scene. I emailed the director of store to find out why this was done and if it was true and I have not heard back from anyone since. Normally I wouldnt do anything about this, but I am upset
