Awful supervisors and managers. I think they have a good selection of dogs BUT be careful what you adopt. Ask to take it and walk it around and for a trial period because they said the dog I took on trial was trained and also 6 years old. Took it home, found out she was 1 years old and chewed, not trained and was trying to bite other dogs. I emailed and tried to bring it back, no response. I then showed up with the dog and attempted to return it during the trial period and they refused to take it back. This dog was a danger to myself and the public. They wouldnt even have a discussion with me and said its your problem but I signed paperwork stating it belonged to them and was their property during the trial period yet they kept saying nope its your dog you cant bring it back. Just beware.

DOING ONE STAR BECAUSE I HAVE TO As you can see this joke of a business isn't even accredited. I adopted a dog from there, and the condition he was in, was a f****** disgrace. They tell me, "He needs to be on the medicine for at least 10 more days" So i ask them, can i please have a few then until he's able to go see a vet?" And was literally told "he's your problem now" So mind you, whatever, I didn't even fight back, I was happy to have this dog, but I go home, and order medicine from chewy and put them as the vet so it can be expidited. Today I called chewy because i haven't received my meds yet and they literally told me "Austin animal center denied the request because they said if he needed it that bad you can just get it from the vet" WHAT THE ACTUAL ****, this place is a f****** joke and i promise i will not stop until a lot of people know about them. You guys ****** with the wrong one.

I am a former donor to Austin Animal Center. I initiated a monthly automatic donation by way of the donation link on their website. After 5 years of donating I wanted to stop the donations. I was unable to get their cooperation because I was unable to contact anyone. Telephone calls and email were never successful. They do not provide any direct contact information on the website and have made it impossible to manage one's donation. I had to close out my credit card account to stop the donations. I'm disappointed that AAC would treat their donors this way. I want to warn future donors.
