Amplify's online payment system is a tired throwback model of banking from the 80's and very poorly maintained. If you have a mortgage or a loan with them, they have limited options if you pay from an external account. After receiving many misapplied payments by Amplify, I registered a formal complaint with the regulatory agency that governs credit unions in Texas. Amplify's provided a sarcastic response by replying "according to the contract, the customer agrees to pay by cash, check or money order" and stated that their online payment system was "a convenience to the customer," or words to that effect, and threatened to have my online access terminated. This credit union is a complete joke. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your banking needs. They have absolutely no business handling the money of others. The employees are nice but the management staff at Amplify are incompetent, malingering malcontents who refuse to proactively resolve any of their internal issues. They rather waste the time of their customers than do anything constructive. Banking at a currency exchange would be an improvement. I think I'd rather a complete stronger throw up in my face than establish another account with ********************. If you happen to be driving by one of their branches and considering a banking relationship with them, keep driving

      Hi ****,

As with many banks and credit unions, requests for nontraditional repayment plans may require manual intervention in our online payment platform. We make a point of working with our borrowers to find the right service plan for their loans, but just as we would encourage members making a large deposit to do so in-branch, we also encourage borrowers with custom repayment plans to do so through other service channels. We can only promise that our team continues to handle your loan payments with great care and encourage you to take advantage of outreach from our leadership team to discuss this process in more detail.
