    Austin match maker is a scam. They pretend to have a team of people working for you but it's a single lady and a guy in ******* running the company. After holding up to my end and them not following through with taking the final payment. I decided to cancel services that were never given. Everything about this company is a lie. Praying on people's hope to find love.

    Just a few issues here ***********  First we have 150 employees from coast to
    coast including 18 in *****.  I'm unsure of where you would come up
    with the claim that we have two people in our company.  Just a completely silly claim.  Second, your
    account was turned over to a collection agency in March of 2022 for
    non-payment.  I just checked with the collection agency and they do not
    show any payments made to them.  Unfortunately there simply doesn't seem to be any truth in your claim.

    Signed up for a membership with Austin Matchmaker on 10/20/2021 for 8 introductions for a total amount of $4796.00. I gave them my list of wants and don't wants - I specifically said No Republicans ( have family members and friends that are republicans and I do not want to deal/get involved romantically with a republican). They have constantly tried to match me with republicans, I have told them repeatedly that I will not meet with a republican, to the point that I had to explain myself why I wouldn't do so, ( which I don't believe I needed to do so). I have accepted 2 meetings - the 1st one, which I think they probably set up everyone with (which I"m sure he wasn't 5'10", if he was then I'm 5'8" and I've been 5'3" since my 20's), and the second with a Hispanic man, (which was another of my don't want) because I felt pressured by them. The last 2 times I've been contacted for a possible meeting, I do not get a follow up call. The last text was on 03/15/2023 - I don't feel that I need to follow up with them. I want my money or at least a large portion of it ($3596.00), since they have not been able to match me with anyone acceptable. I have made them aware of my dissatisfaction and have asked for a refund, which they have denied several times. It's obvious that they do not have any matches for me and I am tired of waiting for them. I want to get out of this contract and just moved forward with my life, but I do not feel that they are entitled to keep my money.

    As a matchmaking company, it is our duty to simply select matches from our available pool of singles for our clients to meet and date. We select matches based on compatible lifestyles, personalities, and many other areas. We understand that political views are extremely important to **************, so we have attempted to make this a strong focus. Unfortunately, it becomes difficult to service someone that possesses such a strong list of other demands as well. 


    We want to remind ************** that dating is not a perfect science. We find that our most successful clients are open-minded and allow us to select matches based on our certifications and experience in the industry. We then utilize our client's post-date feedback to understand them on a deeper level. 


    So far, we have provided ************** with 4 introductions. She has 4 introductions remaining. She is outside of her cancellation period but we will connect with her to identify how we can improve her experience.

    I am rejecting this response because:  Austin Matchmakers response is not satisfactory.  Two of the introductions that they provided turn out to be republicans even after I had told them I was not interested in meeting one.   So now they are trying to say that even though they didnt meet my requirements and didnt do the research to find out these men were republicans that Im out 2 introduction.  Thats unacceptable.

    One of the gentlemen told us clearly that he was a moderate and had voted both Democrat and Republican in the past.  We get to know our members through feedback.  It is the key to everything we do.  We got to know her better through her feedback on this introduction which will help us know her better for future introductions.  As stated previously, her membership fee is not eligible for a refund.  We will continue to provide her with her contracted services until we have met or exceeded our obligations.

    I signed up for the service in September 2022. They have not fulfilled their promise and I am still waiting for a match. They have tried multiple times however they are incredibly difficult to get a hold of, never return phone calls, never give feedback, and are not trying to actively match. They have given me complete opposite matches and are not matching me with people that I was promised they were going to match me with. I have asked for supervisors to contact me and have not heard anything for months. I have tried to get a refund before going on active dates and have been denied. What I was told I would be buying and what Ive received are completely opposite. This is not a personalized matchmaking , and I have been transferred around to so many people at each time I am told oh we didnt know. This is obviously a scam.

We hope that she will return our call, review her experience, and work together to resolve her concerns.     In august of this year 2022 I was approached via email about a matchmaking service. I initially thought it was another service as I had signed up for tawkify and austin matchmakers are actually the ones that called me. I came in at an appointed time they were quite aggressive in having me come in calling me daily. After and hour interview I agreed to pay a price of ****. The lady told me it was a great deal as others were paying around ****. Anyway I was promised 5 dates with men that for the extensive criteria they personalized just for me. The first date was nothing at all that I had asked for and the second one either. every time I try to call to ask about new matches my phone calls ***** returned and my emails return to sender. I just want the 5 matches I was promised or money back. I really feel cheated. Its been 5 months already.

    We are sorry to hear of these concerns. We take our client's membership journey very seriously and would like to work with ******************** to get her on track.


    At this point, we have provided ******************** 3 of the 5 introductions she's purchased. The first introduction was sent to her on  August 22, just a few days after enrolling in our service. This match was local, professional, made a great living, and was serious about his dating journey. She reported her post-date feedback confirming that she met him on August ******************************* someone taller.


    Her second introduction was provided on September 22. This gentleman was 6'3" tall, highly educated, successful, and professional, in shape and local. She reported in her post-date feedback on October 4 providing very little to improve upon. She simply said he was "nice", that she would not see him again and that she is looking for more "Active, (Better) Appearance, Sense of Humor". 


    We would like to remind ******************** that we are a feedback-based service that relies on the post-date report to learn about our clients. This helps us to understand them on a deeper level. This is explained in both our agreement and new client paperwork.


    We provided her third introduction on December 19. This is another man that is local, educated, successful, and serious about his dating goals. We are hopeful that ******************** is satisfied with this introduction but due to the nature of our service, we cannot predict a connection. 


    Unfortunately, ************************ membership is not eligible for cancellation or refund. We will await her post-date follow-up to help guide us through our match selections for her.
