Hello, I am a small business owner of a in-home care service for seniors and disabled adults. I was contacted by a salesman named ******* in regards to referral packages. He clearly explained to me several times that they had a promotion running that included 20 referrals per month for $99/month for 6 months and $99 for every month afterwards. I asked several questions and had ******* to repeat the information over and over again and even break it down as I was skeptical. He said that about 2 out of the 20 referrals pan out. I signed up and paid my first month. However, after only 10 referrals I received an email from careinhomes.com saying that I reached my cap of 10 and I would not receive anymore referrals until next month. I called right away and when I finally spoke to someone she said that all of their packages included up to ********************************************************* and I read back everything that I wrote down from that conversation with him. She said there was no advantage in telling me 20 referrals as all of the packages go up to 10. I told her that the advantage was encouraging people to sign up through false advertisement and that I wanted to cancel my subscription immediately as it was not what I signed up for. She then told me she could not cancel my 6 month subscription as I already signed up for it. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said someone would get back to me. This is false advertising and swindling customers at its best. I refuse to pay $600 for 60 referrals instead of the 120 referrals that I was told I was agreeing to. Now I am locked into something through false pretenses. Not only that, but the referrals that they send are very sketchy and seems made up. Weird names with even weirder email addresses and phone numbers that ring consistently. It all seems like a big scam.
