    I hesitated to leave this review only because I think the is company had well intentions. I submitted a brand new claim I wasnt ignorant to the process as I had submitted a previous claim some years back and was denied so I understood what I had did wrong and that my main issue was lack of evidence and paperwork both in and out of the military! I had challenges with finding records and documents sufficient to support my status and claim. Going into the process with VA Claims insider was great in the beginning meaning getting me to sign up seemed like a priority! Once I was signed up I pretty much was constantly told to just go into the portal and review videos, research stuff etc. The quality of the conversations werent sufficient in my opinion and were lacking clarity and depth. The first few conversation my coach kept speaking as if I had already had a rating and he was going to get me an increase. I had to remind him a few times that no, I didnt have a rating and this would be my initial claim. Im guessing once that reality set in his response was like Oh, ok no rating. That seemed to have been discouraging to him because his countenance dropped. I then asked him about pricing. This was prior to any mention of a contract. I said that since my understanding was that you all were assisting clients getting increases to already existing ratings how would that look for me since I dont have a rating? I never got a clear answer to that and was almost made to feel like I had a unique situation and pricing would apply differently. I realize now I should have pressed for more of an answer then. Overall, there was no help with anything other than insisting that I go through the checklist and check off once something was done. I thought maybe Id get assistance getting references to where to find documents, contacts, anything to assist with helping me get what I needed. Nope, no assistance with any of the things that I truly needed. Now, 10k later I feel robbed.

    I used **** to help me file a claim for benefits with the ** only to learn after signing the contract that it is unlawful to charge a fee for assisting a veteran in filing their initial claim with the VA. Their website says "**** does not assist veterans with the preparation, presentation, or prosecution of VA disability claims for VA benefits" when in reality my couch did just that. Walked me through filing my claim step by step as I submitted it. They market theirselves as an education company when in reality their "education" is information that is already out there for free. I didn't sign up or use any of their classes and only watched ******* videos that were already accessible to the public. I didn't learn anything I didn't already know just for them to expect me to pay them thousands of dollars. I feel taken advantaged of because all they really did for me was help me submit my initial claim which is illegal to charge for.

    This company is a complete and total scam. They do nothing to actually help you get your claims processed. You still do absolutely everything yourself. You're paying to watch cheesy ******* videos and for the possibility of seeing a doctor for $500 a pop which could be done for free or much cheaper otherwise. On top of that once you sign up they will come after you for any increase you receive even if you immediately tell them you docno want their help. If you sign up they think they own you forever and any increase you get is theirs. Speaking of that. They charge 6 times whatever your increase is for 6 months. And that does not include their $500 doctor visits. After learning this is decided to leave and file on my own and was immediately issued a "contract termination" letter stating that although I'd never even spoken with ANYONE at their company and had only been in their "program" for a matter of minutes that if I filed for an increase that I would now owe them what would amount to 6 times that increase. So if I get $1000 more a month I owe them $6000. For what? For falling for their scam and clicking on their website. DO NOT CLICK ON THEIR WEBSITE IT IS A SCAM.

    To Whom It May Concern, I have gone back and forth about writing a review, but ultimately, I have decided to do so, just in case there are others who are afraid to speak up for themselves. I feel that I have received unsatisfactory treatment and service with your organization. I received a strategy session with one of your Elite Veteran Coaches (who I will not mention by name) providing strategic and step by step instructions on how to discuss and relay the symptoms and condition in regard to my mental state. To hear the response this individual gave me, "sounds like you know what you signed up for", was disheartening and a shock to say the least. How are you to encourage and prepare a veteran for opening up and becoming vulnerable with disclosing their traumatic experiences and nightmares while serving in the military with this preconceived mindset that was displayed. This is unsatisfactory and additional sensitive training and approaches on how to talk with veterans should be assessed and revisited. No veteran knows the story of another veteran and we ALL experience our traumas within the branches of service differently, yet ALL traumatically. This is why so MANY veterans shut down in isolation and end up taking drastic measures into their own hands, because of this type of service and not being understood with their mental condition. Your mission says, "educate and empower veterans to get the VA disability benefits they've earned for their honorable service". How can this be applied or even believed regarding a veteran's story, when you have them questioning their own horrific experiences and times, because the wording or response isn't what sounds service connected? I pray and hope no other veteran has experienced or goes through anything even relatable to something as humiliating as this, and hopefully hears the call for correction of this grievance complaint review.

    I could not get to first base with this company. I received a call informing me they were going to follow up with a discovery call. There was no call...the next correspondence was a text from one of their reps telling me he tried calling me twice but I didn't answer. His message read "I'm with VA Claims Insider reaching out in response to a discovery that YOU scheduled"....He put the YOU in all caps. I then called him and asked why he didn't leave a ************** got aggravated immediately. He was very fast talking and kept speaking over me as I was trying to get a breakdown of their fee structure before we went any further. He kept telling me they discuss fees after the claim is awarded. I told him I always discuss fees on the front end (obviously on what we can determine at the time) but he kept on with his sales pitch. He was very pushy and rude. The next thing I know, the call wrapped up by him telling me to have a nice day and hung up on me. Not professional and they seem to be all about their sales pitch and not getting the veteran what they deserve.

    My experiece was mixed. I liked my coach and the others i dealt with. Nothing but positive with folks i talked to. However I was under the impression they would be of a lot more service. After the ******* session i was pretty much on my own other then random contacts. Only real help was contact with people to help with the nexus letters. At a fee of course on top of the 14k i was charged by them. Felt that for the insane fee they charge they should have been of more help. Another odd issue was on original claim they called me for update the day i recieved notice of decision. Then they did the same on the day i recieved my appeal decision. Coincidence maybe... bottom line is i felt the fee i was charged was not justified for the work they did.

    I must express my disappointment in the lack of interaction and support I received from any employee of VA Claims Insider, given the significant cost associated with the initial agreement. While I believe that the reading materials and videos provided valuable insights, the amount I was charged for the very limited interaction I had with anyone from the Insider organization does not seem justified. You can find free sites that offer you more help on ******* who are allot more engaged.My successful claim outcome was primarily the result of my own research's and by going through my primary medical team. Using theirs I did not see get the my rating change. While their intentions I believe were good it did not help my rating. Given these reasons, I would not recommend this organization to my fellow veterans, as I believe there are more cost-effective and supportive options available I did already voice my opinion about this with one of their veteran coaches he said he would look into it and came back with well you watched the videos and took the calls. 8k for ******* videos and 3 2 minute phone calls. Not worth it,

    I will list a brief summary of the services your coach provided you: 


    1- Your coach sent you six text messages where he offered support and guidance, answering your questions and concerns. 


    2- You received six phone calls from your coach raging, these calls ranged in time from over nine-minutes to over twenty-minutes long. After listening to the calls, your coach also provided guidance and a solid strategy plan. Again, as we discussed in our phone call, it is not always the quantity of the calls, but it is also the quality of the support given. Veteran Coach ***** offered you solid support and guidance on these phone calls. 


    3- You had access to our ************************** Elite Member Portal, and the use of additional education-based resources, and videos. 


    4- You were able to access our preferred provider network at our discounted rate.


    5- You attended eight VACI classes.

    We have reached out to you wishing to come to an amicable resolution. We genuinely appreciate the opportunity to work with you and would like to take this moment to wish you all the best in your future endeavors.     I'd like to share my experience with all veterans who are thinking about hiring ******** Insider. I served in the military for a total of 9 years with two tours to ****. I take pride in taking care of people and doing whatever my hands are tasked to do in excellence. I believe most veterans who have served believe in this and much more. I had a pretty bad experience. My coach *** was not very sympathetic in any of our conversations he was more monotone, as if he wanted to get me off the phone as quickly as he could. Later I found out by a supervisor from VA Insiders that some reps have over 200 veterans they need to attend too. This would explain much about their quality of work, communication with veterans, and lack of professionalism. I say this because as a veteran who served in a combat environment I was taught to never leave a soldier behind no matter what. I was actually in a ****************** article August 19th **** (***************************************** in the front cover), saving the life of a down soldier. I still live with that motto. I will not let a company, person, or organization take advantage of any soldier who needs help. Hope there training improves after this. No call return, no authentic support or guidance is how they made me feel, no one suffering from PTSD, nightmares, and Insomnia should feel like they are not being heard. My last draw was when I was scheduled to go and see the interviewers to re-rated my percentage. The meeting went well. but tell me why the next day Coach *** failed to call me to see how it went??? Tell me why Coach *** failed to follow through for 4 months after my meeting... and the worst case was that it wasn't him anymore reaching out to me it was his secretary. My advice. You can do what they preach to do for you, BY YOURSELF! there are plenty of ******* videos to teach you. Be cautious family. They forget they are dealing with real peoples livelihood.

    My coach ******* and his team has done an excellent job of guiding me through the process of filing my ********. All my questions were answered and the process explained thoroughly. Phone calls were returned promptly. They were there to help every step of the way. This helped keep all my anxiety down. Definitely a first class organization.
