    My newly purchased vehicle incurred damage but in truth, the real injustice began when I dropped my vehicle off at Hail Specialists for cosmetic repairs Dec 2023. I was given a reasonable estimate of 4-6 weeks but it was not completed until April. Now May, they are essentially holding the vehicle until my insurance company pays for a bill they have not shown justification for, insisting I pay out of pocket for the difference. The insurance company is still waiting on proof from HS but they havent been cooperative or communicative.This is appears to be a systemic business practice of Hail Specialists, as outlined by countless customers on ****** reviews, reddit, ******************** complaints and numerous lawsuits with insurance companies (Geico, State Farm etc) and customers. Half of their reviews are 5 star, most from their 1st year of business & for hail damage, vs body work. Most recent reviews are the lowest possible, 1 star, with nightmare experiences detailed. It has been suggested that some of the positive reviews are from the accounts of HS employees.Hail Specialists seems to be inflating their company size with deceptive advertising, claiming 7 locations and 250+ employees. Of these locations all but ******* are currently closed.     This place is awful!! My car was dropped off in the middle of December 2023 by a towing company. Hail Specialist said the insurance company wanted to use aftermarket parts. They said they wouldn't put aftermarket parts on the car. I waited for updates from Hail Specialists, and I kept being told that they were working on it or the parts haven't come in yet. 30 days later my rental car had ended, and I still didn't have my car. It took another 2 weeks. When they were paying part of my rental car somehow suddenly, my parts came, and the car was to have been fixed. When I got to Hail Specialist, they said the still had to do something else to my car. I had to wait almost 2 hours for them to do what every else was wrong. By this time, it was dark when I picked it up so I couldn't see if things were fixed. After looking over the car the next day things were not aligned correctly, and the grill and bumper was not on all the way. I then saw the 2 other parts that was still not correct. I went back and they said they would order the parts and keep me updated. That never happened. It is still not fixed 4 months later. This past Saturday the wheel well cover flew off and the quarter panel was falling off as well. When I got home it was even worse. The quarter panel is now bent. We could have really been hurt or it could have hit the car behind me and caused an accident. This is now a safety issue.
