• Advertising Review:

  BBB promotes truth in advertising by contacting advertisers whose claims conflict with the BBB Code of Advertising.  These claims may come to our attention from our internal review of advertising, consumer complaints and competitor challenges.  BBB asks advertisers to prove their claims, change ads to make offers more clear to consumers, and remove misleading or deceptive statements. 

  On September 2, 2022, BBB contacted Apeiron Zoh, Inc. regarding advertised claims on their website https://apeiron.com and https://apeiron.store.

  Apeiron Zoh Inc. advertises bioavailability claims including: 

  “Our Dihydroberberine features a highly bioavailable form of dihydroberberine: GlucoVantage, which has been shown to be up to 5x more
  bioavailable and 2x longer lasting than regular berberine….”

  BBB Code of Advertising states claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy, or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.

  BBB requested Apeiron Zoh Inc. to provide evidence from recent, reliable, and competent studies or other objective data including any scientific findings, FDA approvals, clinical studies, or other objective data to substantiate this claim.

  BBB also requested Apeiron Zoh Inc. to provide evidence substantiating the bioavailability claim advertised for their products by providing
  evidence from recent, reliable, and competent scientific studies or other objective data substantiating the advertised claims including any human trial data including any related information about the timeframe of the trials, any outcomes, and the number of participants.

  Apeiron Zoh Inc. also advertises various products with claimed results including:

  “Holy basil- They may perform many different functions including Balancing hormones such as cortisol (the stress hormone), improve brain function,Boosting the immune system, lowering inflammation, Improving energy levels,Improving organ and bodily system (such as GI) function.”https://apeiron.store/collections/cognitive-brain-health/products/holy-basil“NMN has been studied to keep cells healthy as a person ages… it works bycontributing to promote DNA repair, modulating immune-cell signaling, inducingenergy-intensive enzymes (PARPS, CD38), etc., supporting energy production, andmost importantly activating sirtuins.”“(MitoQ) Reduces the free radical damage which can lead to the visible and internalsigns of aging, supports youthful levels of cellular energy which supports healthycell growth and repair, supports heart and circulatory function, including normalblood pressure, supports brain health and cognitive function including focus andmental clarity, supports kidney, liver and digestive system health, supports normalimmune system responses and function, supports the health of your muscles, jointsand skin.”“ (MitoQ) is a ground-breaking product which supports youthful energy levels andcan reduce the free radical damage which contributes to many symptoms of agingand various health problems.   BBB Code of Advertising states claims relating to performance, energy savings,safety, efficacy, or results for a product or service should be based on recent andcompetent testing or other objective data.BBB requested Apeiron Zoh Inc. to substantiate the advertised claims for products sold by ApeironZoh, Inc. by providing evidence from recent, reliable, and competent scientificstudies or other objective data substantiating the claims of their specific products or discontinue theadvertised claims to address BBB’s concern. 

  Apeiron Zoh, Inc. also advertises they offer a CBD course to consumers to learn “how to: Prevent unwanted cognitive side effects, Improve client outcomes and optimize use of cannabinoids, Use genetic interpretation best practices for more effective results.”
  
  Apeiron Zoh also advertises CBD can help with “pain relief, sleep, anxiety and more.”

  BBB requested Aperion Zoh Inc. to substantiate the advertised claims by providing evidence from recent, reliable, and competent studies or other objective data substantiating claims of their or the manufacturer’s specific product claims to treat or advertisements of any health or disease benefit claims.

  BBB also requested more information about the details offered in their endocannabinoid course. 

  Apeiron Zoh additionally advertises they offer DNA Genetic Testing Kits.

  BBB Code of Advertising states claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy, or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.
  
  BBB requested Apeiron Zoh substantiate the effectiveness of the tests by providing evidence from recent, reliable, and competent scientific studies or other objective data substantiating the effectiveness of their product.
  
  BBB also requested more information if their tests offered were FDA-approved and if a CLIA laboratory is utilized to analyze the accuracy of the tests. If substantiation could not be provided BBB requested Apeiron Zoh to discontinue advertising the product.

  Apeiron Zoh, Inc. also advertises testimonials with results from their customers.
  
  BBB Code of Advertising states in general that advertising which uses testimonials or endorsements is likely to mislead or confuse if it is not genuine and does not represent the current opinion of the endorser. If a consumer’s experience represented in an advertisement is not the typical experience of those using the product or service unless the advertisement clearly and conspicuously discloses what the expected results will be.
  
  BBB requested Apeiron Zoh Inc. to disclose and substantiate with scientific evidence the typical result from customers’ testimonials and substantiate the testimonials advertised or if substantiation could not be provided to discontinue the advertised claims to address BBB’s concern.

  Lastly, Apeiron Zoh, Inc. advertises programs on https://apeironzoh.com/center/ with pricing from $2,500 to $60,000. BBB requested more information about what is included in the program.
  
  Apeiron Zoh also advertises “Once you become an Apeiron Client, we test your DNA and use your precision data as a current snapshot of your system. Next, we introduce medicine, supplements, peptides, and hormone replacement to optimize the system. Finally, we use state of the art brain mapping, neuro feedback, and brain training to give you an edge in your physical, cognitive, and mental/emotional performance."
  
  BBB Code of Advertising states claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy, or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.
  
  BBB requested substantiation about the effectiveness of their program with reliable, relevant scientific studies.
  BBB also requested more information about Apeiron Zoh's program.

  As of October 5, 2022, Apeiron Zoh, Inc. failed to respond to BBB's requests.
