    My family stayed at this hotel on 6/29-7/1 2024. The total amount for our entire stay was ******. They were to provide us with a hotel room for our family. On the last night of our stay a child got sick one time and threw up. We alerted the front desk to let them know. There was no statement of any kind of fee for cleaning or even the possibility of a fee. When we left and was on the way home we did not receive a call or e-mail, but rather a statement showed up on our credit card that we had been charged an additional ******. For a total expense overall now of ******. We immediately tried to reach out to the hotel and was dismissed. Told they would call us back and never got a call back. Talked to corporate office and told we would be given a case number. We were not. On 7/17 finally talked to the manager of the hotel. Was told that they charged us that amount for holding the room. Despite no policy, or conversation that this was a possibility. In trying to discuss the situation it was clear they did not want to resolve the issue and was happy to have taken the money.
