My unit #*** at ********** apartments has had sporadic problems with obtaining hot water and/or adequate water pressure levels multiple times since my lease began in late August 2024. Maintenance is usually quick to respond and show up to resolve the issue, only for it to go bad again days or even hours later. Each time, there is a different excuse as to why the issue keeps returning. Excuses include: there was a build-up of sediment in the pipes leading to your apartment, the how water flow is weaker because the building is on a "call system", electricity went down and caused more sediment build-up, a piece of the piping needed to be replaced, and most recently, a pipe had frozen and we had it removed (per Tuesday 1/21/2025). In particular, hot water and adequate water pressure has been unbearable since the *** holiday on Monday. Maintenance came twice on Monday, once on Tuesday morning, and again on Wednesday afternoon. Each time, they checked it and resolved it only for it to go bad again a few hours later. I've even been given the key (since Monday) to model unit #*** to be able to take a shower that isn't freezing. I have cold-induced cutaneous vasculitis so I'm particularly at risk of a health episode. On Wednesday morning I received a message from management that multiple people are using the shower in #*** due to the same problem in their apartments, and that I need to remember to double-lock ("bolt") the door because they also have keys for ***. It is atrocious that my privacy and ability to take a shower in my own space undisturbed is void because of a water issue they clearly aren't addressing and at a monthly rent over $2,000 per month.

I applied for an apartment at ****************** who is owned by Christopher Investments, back in March. I was asked to pay an admin fee and an application fee separately and told that the admin fee of $210.00 would be refunded in the case that my application was denied. On March 21, 2024 The application was denied, and I was assured I would get the $210.00 back and I was never refunded. I have tried multiple times to contact the business and I get zero response and was hung up on by the manager named ***** then was blocked by email from sending them my supporting documentation.

I have leased an apartment in the Christopher's apartment building,The *********,for apporximately a year and a half.At first I was thrilled to be in it because it is a gorgeous buillding but soon things began to disappear from my apartment:first woolen socks, then many many valuable pieces of clothing by:****** and other couture venders. They just vanished and I finally woke up to the fact that I was being burgled at a rapid pace.I called up the Christopher Company in a panic and left a detailed message about that and gave a detailed list of some of the things taken-including an exact list of missing ****** pieces. This began a bizarre process of break ins that were noticeable:the exact list of items I left on the voice machine of the Christopher ** appeared in my closet ,as if by magic.I received a threatening letter from the management company they deemed a"cease and desist letter"telling me if I complained again I would suffer consequences. They, one night, told me when I went into the lobby to open up my mailbox that:"I was not allowed in the lobby"AND when I went to open my mail my mailbox was locked....! I wrote an email to the property manager telling her I had every right as a renter to complain about the burglaries to my apartment and if the didn't open up my mailbox asap they would be receiving a harrassment case from me:that tampering with my ingress of mail was a federal crime. The next day these instances were never repeated and my mailbox yielded to my key.By the way,I spoke to "Zack ************************** owner's son who said:"Oh my god, this has to be an internal crime! before I received the threats. So,of course I went to the police. The high dollar amount of the theft was staggering. The crooks have hacked my adt system repeatedly-erasing my camera histories etc. These breaks were not just simple break ins.A slasher who has slashed my things.I want the owner to pay the dollar amount of the items slashed, broken or stolen.

The accusations and complaints made by this resident have been fully investigated by our own team, as well as the police, and are unfounded.  We have given this resident the ability to vacate at anytime and they have refused.  No theft has occurred by any of our team or anyone in our building to this resident.  We will not be refunding anything as these claims are false.

I am rejecting this response because:

********************************* are setup like a bunker; there are cameras rolling 24/7 placed in the front and back of the building; there is a "concierge "at the front-a person who stares at the front door and doesn't buzz anyone in who they have not checked out thoroughly and in the back of the building there is a second set of doors and an elevator no one can access without a key fob issued by the building management-the cameras that face there clock every single person that goes in or out.
This means that no burglary could possibly happen easily and certainly if it did the burglar or burglars would be easily captured on film and caught. The external perimeter of the building makes ************* look lax.

The building makes an imposing image when it is first seen. It looks like nothing could go wrong in it. This has not been the case for me.

I began to notice things missing in my apartment about a year ago but didn't really put things together until major items of :clothing ,jewelry and valuable rare: astrology manuscript translations from traditional astrologers I am an expert in went missing-and by that I mean a lot of such books-books that are irreplaceable I brought to ***** to convey my knowledge. These are out of print and cannot be replaced or if they can be had each cost a lot of money. There are many hundreds of these stolen and I refuse to allow this situation to last. As well as this designer clothes were stolen or carved up with a razor blade-picture enclosed as an attachment here, lots of French perfume; cosmetics, underwear, a rare ******* gifted to me; my music CDs smashed and stolen; a vacuum cleaner bag filled with dirt dumped on my Livingroom rug and many pieces of jewelry stolen! They WILL be returned to me in their entirety because when I entrusted my belongings to management I expected basic needs to be met. I have the right of quiet enjoyment": the right not to have a single thing stolen, cut up with a razor blade or vandalized as my belongings have been in the past four months. I have been burglarized over and over and over again, A simple trip to the package room-I am on a high floor-results in an immediate break in. One in which a lot of theft and or burglary is carried out!

Moreover, the management of the building was entrusted to a manager, ********************* who has two serious criminal complaints to her name. Complaints she pled guilty TOO who still lives in the building and works for the ********************** Property, **************!
Does a building owner who is smart hire such an iffy person: trusting them with the well being of a gigantic building they own? Surely this shows a lack of judgement and no concern about criminality.

So when it all began to happen I left a message for Mr. ********************** on his answering machine explaining the theft and giving a list of five or so items that had just been stolen.

Mr. ********************** responded by locking me out of my mailbox in the lobby; giving a message I wasn't allowed to go in the lobby and expressing hostility wholly! A VERY odd response from a building owner who should be concerned about liability and a good reputation! He had a "cease and desist letter warning letter given to me saying I could not contact him given to me by a hostile  worker at my front door! It was laughable as it was clear no lawyer penned it!
I continued discussing the items stolen but switched to emailing the building manager, *************** and explained that as a renter I had every legal right to write of my thefts and that if Mr. ********************** continued the harassments I would wage a harassments suit. "The mailbox was opened back up and things went back to what they were.

Not once in my whole ordeal have I received a single word of concern or was I questioned about the ******************* made no attempt to help me track down the criminals!

Anyway, by now you are asking yourselves who were the burglars? How did they access my apartment. This is the big question because they couldn't have come from WITHOUT. There were too many impediments to their getting in repeatedly without being filmed.

The criminals might then have come from within.
How did the criminals access my apartment seamlessly in a ten minute window and never be seen?

Moreover, I have a HIGHLY sophisticated burglar alarm system now with two ****** cameras that are clocking my apartment but somehow they are being turned on and off at will externally and the picture feed goes black and then goes back into bright pictures! If they were broken they would show grainy pictures and not go back on again with high clarity and brightness! They would stay dead!

I have dealt with the police for several months but they were flummoxed by the wealth and power of the management and didn't look at things with a cold eye.

I have told Mr. ********************** that if he had such a lax internal setup that i have been subject to large losses and vicious personal attacks on my apartment he should realize he is financially libel for all the losses I suffered..I expect him to compensate me for my losses in toto.
I can give a list of venders I bought the missing items FROM and can prove much of what i am alleging in the way of losses

    See attachments.

    Regards,

    *******************************

Management at The ***** refuses to provide a consistent, secure and safe parking environment for the people that live here. I have contacted the management office numerous times - specifically ************************* and have been met with attitude and zero action. Parking on the roof level continues to be a free for all resulting in door dings, inaccessible spots, obstruction of entrances, etc.

Our parking garage is open to all residents of The Pearl. There is no assigned parking and residents do not pay parking fees for the privilege of parking their vehicles in the parking garage.  Improper parking in the community by residents and their guest are addressed by notifying the owner of the violation, stickering the vehicle, and if necessary, contacting the towing company to have the vehicle removed or booted from the property following City laws.  Unfortunately, our property management company does not provide security to the building or the parking garage.  We do have a Courtesy Officer who walks the property and parking garage at random times each day.  To report improper parking after hours residents can phone the office main line and our Courtesy Officer can be contacted to address the issue. During office hours residents can call our main line and speak to the Property Manager so the issue can be addressed as it occurs.

I am rejecting this response because:the response was riddled with falsehoods and inaccurate.

Currently - The ***** does NOT have accurate records of parking stickers and associated license places as detailed by their Assistant Manager. An email on 10/07/22 from **************************** states "Unfortunately, the last property management group did not keep proper records of the parking permits or even collecting license plate numbers."********************** has not done anything to remedy this disconnect in information.

Additionally - there have been no communications sent regarding the towing of vehicles. Can someone please provide some proof of this?
