This was our residence, on 8-23-24 they were sent a move out notice from us. We advised them we would not be renewing our lease and our move out date was 9-30-24. Last week on 9-26-24 I received an invoice for October totalling $1.382.29; upon receiving this I call Royal Palms and spoke with management. I was told that as long as by Monday 10-1-24 everything was moved from out lot that we would not be charged. We completed moving on Saturday 9-28-24 everything was removed and lot was cleaned. Upon my review this morning the amount of $1,382.29 was taken from our account. I called management again today and the same manager told me that I needed to go on the resident portal and cancel and then wait 30 days for them to cancel the payment. I was NEVER told that despite me asking multiple times over 30 days what I needed to do upon moving out. The management told me that they do not take any money that I set up the auto draft and 'how would they know I set it up'.. We as residents were instructed to set up auto pay when the new owners ****************** purchased them. She was no help in resolving this matter, AT ALL!!!!

New property company is managing the land I rent. The hey are increasing the lot rent from $875 to $1150. This is for the entire community. Is this legal? They only giving us 18 days to sign a new lease or decide by end of month what were gonna do.
