This company is predatory. They filed a mortgage on my behalf without my knowledge on a home I paid cash for. They continue to send me mail as if I have a mortgage, and on a recent credit check for a car loan, the fictitious mortgage showed up. I have a quit claim deed on my property showing I own it in full.Business Response

Its been the worst bank I deal with over , its been month we we applied for 2 loan 1 for lot and 1 for refinance our house,we still no answer yet they only keep request document over and over . The loan for the lot we decided go apply with ***************************** Federal Credit because our contract is expired and we need to move forward we apply 3 days ago with ***************************** Federal Credit they already approved in 3 day and our closing date next week. SecurityNational Mortgage Is still no answer its it is funny I did not contact them for mortgage. They did contact me asked me if I want ref my house and here now we go so slow, refinance they still not to give me an answer, It took RBFCU three days to give us an answer and approve us I will never recommend it SecurityNational Mortgage to anyone. Missed a payment because I forgot I had previously temporarily switched autodraft accounts. They placed a 12 month online payment block. 9 months later, without notice or permission, they attempted autodraft again, which failed because I was not aware it would be attempted. Now they won't resolve issue over the phone, and I have extra fees due to their incompetence. Conveniently for them, they are just selling off my loan to another company, possibly just to avoid being accountable for anything.Business Response

At first, I really thought I was in with a great mortgage company with SNMC as a first time home buyer. My loan ******** ******************** was a pleasure to work with. However, my issues reside with communication from SNMC after my home purchase. I was told by **** that I would make all my mortgage payments through PennyMac, so when I received the email from PennyMac I downloaded their App and entered my bank details, etc. so that I was all set for payments. I made every payment before the due date and was on track with PennyMac. Just an FYI, I've never made a late payment in my life.Well, 3 months later, I see my credit score dropped 155 points. Come to find out, I "missed" my first mortgage payment with Security National Mortgage! Who knew? Nobody ever told me I'd make any payments to them, I was told by **** that all payments went through PennyMac. Apparently SNMC sent me "letters" in the mail at my new home address to inform me. I never received any letters from them. Not even a phone call or email to say "hey, it looks like we missed your 1st mortgage payment. What happened?" Nothing. Now, I'm fighting with the credit bureau to remove this dilenquent remark and get my credit score back. I made this outstanding payment last week, the same day I found out it was "missed". This is an opportunity for SNMC to reach out to customers via phonecall or email if a payment is missed. A letter in the mail isn't cutting it, especially when it was never put in my mail box to begin with. You should inform your customers they will make first payments to you, and after that they will be to PennyMac.After this experience, I will never use SNMC again.Business Response

Did a Cash out refinance back in 2021, the Mortgage was immediately sold to *********** Problem is Security National Mortgage did not release the lien on my property and I am trying to sell the house on July 1st. I called support and there telling me it is not there responsibility to release the lien. There playing pass the buck with the lender they sold the note to.Business Response
