      They had a contract with me to provide movers unload a moving truck for us. They cancelled the afternoon before the move! They said they made an error and didnt have movers in the area! I made the reservation June 12, 2024 for an unload in ******, ** ( near ******* and *************************.) I was told Caddy HAD MOVERS IN THE ***** I paid a ten dollar reservation fee for July 12 at 7:00 am. I double checked on July 5 - was told the unload was still happening. On June 11 - I received a conformation from Caddy that the unload the truck the next day. Then later that same day - THEY CANCELLED ON ME! They said it was their error - they had no movers in the area. No compensation, no help finding a different mover - nothing!

      Hello,We made a reservation for 2 movers for 2 hours at 4pm on July 1st. The movers did not show up until 6:45pm, the movers were a couple and only 1 of them actually moved anything as they had a baby with them and said the other mover had to feed the child in their car. The one mover only helped for approximately 40 minutes as they had to leave and said they couldn't stay any longer and sent a message to Caddy that they had completed at 7:20pm and then stood in our yard refusing to leave until we made the payment in full. We made the full payment to make them leave and then finished the move ourselves - of the things he did move he refused to put any of the furniture/boxes in their noted rooms and instead put everything right inside our doorway. This interaction honestly made our move way harder and more stressful than it would have been to just do it ourselves. I then texted the Caddy *** I had been in contact with prior to the mover's arriving to express our complaint and did not recieve a response or an answer to my phone calls.

      I booked 3 weeks ago, Caddy sent me an text yesterday confirming they would be here as arranged. Imagine my surprise when a minute before the 8 to 9am arrival time that I receive another text that states they are delayed and will arrive at noon.Then I receive this at 11:00:Hi ******** please be advised that our dispatch team hasnt found movers today. We apologize for the inconvenience.I had hired a man to drive the trailer to transport the furniture between homes. He was on standby for 3 hours and YES I had to pay him, the refrigerator was to be moved and a new one moved in. After unloading it and the frozen food setting out for 3 hours the frozen food is ruined. Not to mention wasting my time and delayed moving for 3 weeks AND having to rebook a moving company that will actually SHOW UP.I am thoroughly disgusted with your so called "company" and intend to post this on every site possible to warn others of your complete failure as a company including the BBB.*******************************

      Dates of transaction 4/22 l utilized Caddy Mover for 2 hours at $120 an hour total $240 to load my U-Haul at 4793 WinterSet way. The process is they take $1 off to make sure your debit card works and once they arrive the 239 comes off your card. I utilized Cassy movers to unload my U-Haul at my new address *************************************************************** movers for 2 hours at $120 an hour totaling $240, all together I spent $480 total, I contacted my point person from Caddy Moving to let them know that my table was damaged, dented and scratched my walls up and dropped/damaged my barely 2 year old ************ 55 inch 4K UHD ***************** which was wrapped and placed in a sturdy tv box with styrofoam ends in the top and bottom. Once we plugged the tv in the screen was all different colors with a line through it , it blanked on and off, we observed the crack in the tv. I texted my point person, made a claim on the company website, sent pics and all they offered was $17.80 for reimbursement. They advertise a $1000 liability insurance, no hassle refund and they stand by their workers that they are reliable. I have called, text and email multiple times and no one will respond, not even to provide duplicates of receipts which my bank has required. I am asking for my tv to be placed and or the $480 I paid to purchase another tv

      Date 5/11/24 Hired 2 workers Minimum 3 hours, one worker worked for 1.5 hours another 2 hours and walked off job. Moving company charged my card the full 3 hours and will not return calls or emails. They damaged a 4k fridge as well as an antique hutch. Each weighing over 400lbs, they have only offered $150 for damage even though it stated .60 per lb damage, they have blocked my calls and emails and will not refund the hours paid and not worked nor address the damage. This has been for 2plus week with no reply from management and every number I call from they say they will call back then block me and they never do

      I was advised by Caddy Moving that the personnel that were to show up for a scheduled move were going to have boxes, tools, and other supplies, and they did not. The movers informed me that caddy had not advised them to bring such equipment so when I reached out to the gentleman who set up my appointment, ive received no response after a phone call and two emails.

      On 11/20/2023, this company sent me two movers to help load my truck. Two weeks prior I asked them if their guys familiar with shrink wrapping my furniture? **** said yes, not knowing the helpers werent employees of theirs. I reserved for two hours, when they got there the older guy 60 years of age told me it would take about four hours after accessing my belongings. Every hour they called to see if they were finished, and also charged my card every hour. Eight hours later over a thousand dollars, they wrapped up my furniture, I asked them if they were familiar with shrink wrapping because I have a lot of glass furniture. I moved to another state, as I had real professional to unload my belongings into a storage we noticed some damage. They had me to take pictures and file a complaint with the company. I explained to them in several emails that my furniture was expensive over $15k. They deposited $217 into my account, without my accepting it. They basically told me that was what they were giving me. I told her ******* several times that I didnt like the way she was responding to me like take it or leave it. I finally was able to move into my place the first week of January, the same professional movers that unloaded my truck assisted me with my move in process. When I started unwrapping my glass furniture glass pieces started falling out. I sent pictures to this company advising them, which I told them in a previous email that I would update them with any other damages when I move. I waited forty eight hours no response. I posted a review on their website with pictures, I received an email from ******* again basically saying that they would give me $100 in good will if I could remove the post. I made another review with the update from the company, that they removed. Im very disappointed in this company and Im not removing the truth, just to find out that their employees were giving good reviews. Fireplace glass cracked and dinette table base glass is cracked.

      I relied on my brother to book a moving service with this company. When he spoke to the customer service representative, she seemed very unorganized. She dispatched two movers and couldnt give us an ETA when we asked. When the movers finally showed up an hour later than expected, they looked like two teenagers (one male and one woman) who didnt look like they could lift heavy items. I honestly wanted to cancel, but due to my circumstances I had no choice but to let them help. They consistently dropped my items and broke a few pieces as well. To make matters worse, they were moving slowly as if I wasnt on a time limit. Not only that, but once the job was done, they tried to charged my card again for double the total quoted amount. The same customer service representative called my brother and said the movers said their reasoning was because they stayed longer than I booked them for. I booked them for two hours (12p-2p). They didnt show up until closer to 1p. Around 3p, I still had more than half of my items to move but I told them to leave because I had other people (friends) who ended up showing up to help. They declined to leave and CHOSE to stay. I told them multiple times that I had only paid for two hours, so if they stayed later then it was their own decision. When they realized my bank blocked the double charge, I started to receive many notifications from multiple different banks that my card was being used. I was scammed by *********************** and *********************. They stole my credit card information out of my purse while I wasnt in the room and ended up making multiple charges to Padsplit and other places. I disputed it with my banks, but I am still upset that something like this even happened to me. I want a full refund for this service because this was nothing like what the company advertised and what the reviews said. I feel like this was all a scam and the company does not have any morals or care about the customers.

      I booked a move with this company. 40 minutes before the move time I received a text telling me that no tools or truck would be provided for the move. This information was not provided during the booking process or on the main pages of the site. The email confirmations also did not include this information. Desperate to move because I had to be out of my storage unit the same day, I asked the customer service rep for the cost to add the truck. That person had someone call me and I was told it would be over twice as much as what I booked for and they coukd not accommodate the time I needed to move. Therefore the move had to be canceled. I was then charged $55 for the move and they refuse to refund me the money although because of them, I had to pay to ********* in storage. I asked for the area of the website that indicates what happens with cancellations since this company offers last minute moves. I was directed to the frequently asked questions page confirming that no information about policies is provided during pr after booking which shoukd not be the case and therefore ahould allow me a refund. The person also admits that their form to indicate what is needed for the move is confusing. I would like a refund.

      I hired this company for a couple of moves. The first one went OK, the "movers" were careful. When I wanted to hire them a second time, I specifically asked them if they were insured because the expensive tool work station I needed help with was extremely expensive. They said yes and so I hired them. The job was to lift a tool work station locker on top of my toolbox. They weren't careful and damaged the expensive baked on finish but when I brought to their attention, they said they wouldn't cover it. If the are not going to pay for restoration of the finish I want my money back so I can hire a pro to refinish.
