    The business charged me more than initially verbally quoted for the diagnostic. My vehicle was dropped off 9/8/23 for the diagnostic. The technician told me the estimate would be completed 1-3 business days. But the estimate was not completed until 9/25, causing me financial damages in the form of paying for transportation to and from work. Otherwise I would have not been able to work. The business would not allow me to have a loaner car during the time without my vehicle. The estimate included pictures of dye from a leak in my a/c system. So I believed that this was the cause of my check engine light. And according to the estimate, this was the cause as well. Took my vehicle to a different business, and they werent able to find the alleged leak in my air conditioning system. And now the A/c has been running just fine after they preformed the same service. My check engine light also cleared. Leading me to believe the diagnosis was performed inadequately or fraudulently by Autonation ****** I have attached an email from the service manager at Autonation as well confirming.

    Purchased a vehicle on 8/24/23, and their finance guy uses deceptive tactics. Upon telling them we were already pre-approved for financing, it happens that our bank was the only bank that they did not do business with; load of c*** We decided to see what bank they could get with the same rate or better. The next day, the finance guy called to verify information and when I said that I wanted to know what my rate was before I went back to sign the paperwork, he said that it would be close to the rate I already had. I called my salesman and told him that I wanted to know my rate before I came to sign the paperwork. Needless to say, if I hadn't made a nuisance of myself, they wouldn't have notified me of my rate before I went to sign the paperwork. At the time of signing, he pushed their extended warranty plans and made it sound like you have to accept one, but I declined all and was asked the reason. People really shouldn't have to give a reason. He gave us the finance agreement to sign before even showing us the total price of the vehicle, and it's a good thing I already knew the amount that should have been on there because he already included the most expensive warranty plan cost, over $4,000. When I brought it up, he made excuses and his attitude changed. I've purchased quite a few vehicles over the years and never had the amount financed been incorrect. The dealership will usually walk you through the forms and at least show you the detail of the total price of the vehicle. I'm sure he was insuring he received his bonus, kickback, or whatever for "selling" that extended warranty. I also had to ask for copies of everything that I signed, which I shouldn't have to ask for. It should automatically be given. Their finance guy used deceptive tactics, and tried to hide information. It was a great vehicle, but their finance tactics were dishonest and deceitful.

    We have reached out to the customer to discuss this further.  We matched customer's rate at their bank, and fully disclosed optional protection items available to them.  They declined.  At no point was the customer told they were required to purchase additional protection items, and all dollar amounts were fully disclosed.
