      WARNING: Do not buy a used vehicle from this dealership!My daughter and son-in-law purchased a used **** truck from this dealership, and just three weeks later, the engine suffered a catastrophic failure. Two experienced mechanics I consulted stated that the dealership must have known the engine was in critical condition when they ran diagnostics and performed repairs before selling it. Yet, they still sold the truck.When my son-in-law contacted the dealership, they offered to replace the engine at "their cost." However, they refused to disclose what that cost actually wassomething the mechanics I spoke with said is bull c*** They should be able to provide an estimate. We also requested a refund of the down payment, but the dealership denied our request.PLEASE, avoid this dealership. I cant help but wonder how many others have been taken advantage of in the same way.

      ****-We have spoken with your son in depth about the ******* mile $8000 truck he bought. We asked him to bring it in so we could look at the issue and help him remediate the costs (or at least verify the engine issue), he declined. He said he had gotten quoted between $8000 or more for the engine. I told him that I thought I could get him a quote for much less or even see if it needed an engine. We concluded that we could look into it and give him an exact quote. However, after receiving multiple emails from yourself that were threatening in nature, I decided only to have further interaction with your son. If he would like help in resolving this issue he can reach us at the dealership.

      Two mechanics I spoke with said Maxwell Ford could have provided a quote! Dont feed me this line of bull. Also, your company knew the engine was bad because of the CarFax report. It seems your company has done the same thing to other customers. It appears customers at ******************** are ranked by the size of the purchase. Again, anyone reading this, DO NOT buy from this dealership!

      Just purchased a new **** explore in March of 2025. The purchase was going good over the phone agreed on a price and the price was the same as agreed on. The sales person was easy to work with(*****). Everything was good till I gave them my pre approval then things changed. The sales manger came with the let me run your credit to beat your interest rate. When I told him no I was good I was told I could not leave with car unless credit was ran because they havent worked with my bank before and didnt trust my pre approval. Told them I just wanted to use my pre approval and they could call them since it was early and they were still open. I was told no if you want to use your bank I could leave and they would contact me when they got funds for car and then I could come back. I gave in after being bullied in to running my credit since they said they would let me leave with the car and they would use my pre approval after they saw that I had a good enough credit to be trusted before letting drive off with an expensive car. Was a frustrating thing a scheme to get me to run my credit and then just to say okay use your pre approval after making feel like in untrusted person or like I did something wrong. That was upsetting okay for the car its all over now nope. Did the survey a few days later gave a four star and explained the reason for the 4 start. Then the easy to work with sales person gets mad and contacts me over text and will not drop the issue. He accuses me of losing him money that the survey only affected him not the dealer ship. Told him I was sorry and we can make a deal in the future and make up for it and I was told that my business wasnt need or wanted at the dealer ship. Tried to contact about the sales person with his response left email and voicemail no response. There cars salesman can respond how ever they would like.

      Great Dealership from sales to service. Maxwell Ford always takes care of our needs. Ask for Kiel he will take care of you.

      Horrible business and typically c*** sales practices. Pushed and called non stop to sell me a car, negotiated with me and gave a decent deal (only reason for the 1 star) made promises of alterations or credit to do alterations to the car, UNTIL I said I was going through my credit union. Ultimately I had to take the paperwork to the back, bring them the check (they refused and stated credit unions were horrible to deal with. Ironically the dealer didn't pay my back for almost 2 months) backed out on the alterations to the car, then just completely ghosted me after! I texted the sales person and called him various times, NO RESPONSE/REPIES, contacted sales, Finance, and customer service, NO RESPONSE/REPLIES. Even left them a negative review on ******* Got your typical "we'll look into it and get back to you", but nothing since. Here we are 2 months later still no contact, waiting for my plates, and now the car also has electrical problems. Invest your time and money elsewhere people. This place sucks!

      Unprofessional staff and disrespectful to there customers. I called Saturday before closing to see if a car is available to buy and Troy confirmed that car is available. On the next business day I drove all the way from San Antonio to Austin to see the car( plus I took a day off from work) . I was there at 9am. They told me that car was sold Saturday.it means they sold the car before I contacted them Saturday night I drove back home and went online again . I found that same car still listed for sale . I contacted them using different name and salesperson Jose confirmed that car is available and asked if I can come to take a look at the car. So these people are posting low prices online on cars not available for sale and using these posts as bait to schedule appointments and sell them different cars for higher prices.

      I am a client with ford maxwell service commission. I have been trying to contact them for weeks from a incident that occurred a few month ago ( where as I am still having the same issues with my vehicle from months ago, since I picked up my vehicle after it was payed for, the same issues that my truck was taken in for, ( I was forced then to take it to another mechanical shop who advised me to take it back to Ford because it was their work that obviously failed) meaning my truck was not completely fixed even after being payed for with warranty. I’ve done everything I could to get to a higher authority. I spoke to the manager above Ray ****, after the fact that Ray **** told me he had nothing more to say to me , he wasn’t fixing my truck for free, that he wipes his hands clean and hung up on me. I reached out to his manager who’s name to be Eric and he left me a voicemail that I didn’t hear before speaking to him but he as well became very angry and impatient, yelling at me that he didn’t care what I said, what I had to say , what I had to prove, that he wasn’t going to work on my vehicle “for free” and that, and I quote, “ was barking up the wrong tree” and hung up on me. I can’t explain the agonizing torment I had in my stomach after speaking to these men who I chose out of everyone to get service from and who was paid for their service (that was not given) in my return with warranty. I knew since the very beginning I made a mistake going there because it felt very messy and unprofessional and the quality service they claim to give was clearly not given because I’m still having the same issues with my vehicle. Given the circumstances and that there was a third party involved, I asked for everything to be recorded in documented and Rey Luna failed to do that also. It says when you call, everything is recorded and monitored and for their sake I hope that it is. Im not going to accept their last words to me as the final answer.

      Service Department is disappointing. Dropped one of my service vehicles there on a Monday for a recall repair. Despite many calls, three days later I can get no response regarding status of my vehicle or how long it might be out of service. A friendly person usually answers the phone eventually, then has no information; all roads lead back to a Service Rep that appears to not work there. I've tried the Service Director and other managers... crickets. Take your Ford to any other dealer for service. Maxwell Ford Service does not understand service.
