    On 2/17/25, at approximately 2pm CST, ***** ****** from Signature Pest Control came to our home soliciting pest control services. She informed us that an outdoor pest application would be provided on the same day as well as rodent exclusion all for a (1) time fee of $250 and $39 monthly thereafter if we wanted to continue services. We agreed to the service & said that we would give them a try. The techs came that day & removed over 80% of the metal mesh fillers that our builders installed on our new construction home. After they removed the fillers they said that they couldn't apply all of the "rodent exclusion product" because they couldn't remove all of the fillers and we would have to remove it ourselves. Plus, they didn't have time to finish it because they had 2 other jobs scheduled & they were running behind. They intentionally removed the mesh & left us vulnerable for rodents knowing that it's due to get dangerously cold within the next 24-48hrs! I had to go refill everything that they removed. The interior service was sloppy & carelessly done as well. Whatever they used, was supposed to be sprayed in the interior corners, instead became large puddles all over my floors throughout the house where my dog could've easily ingested it if I wasn't monitoring her. It didn't dry for over an hr & I had to clean it up! I've called the company twice on 2/18/25, well within the 24hr window, to request cancellation & a FULL refund for their predatory practices. I left a voicemail message with ****** (retention mgr) on 2/18/25, after holding for 1hr & 6 minutes, requesting a call back in regards to cancellation and a refund request. Signature Pest Control hasn't provided a contract to show what services we've signed up for. As a consumer we have a right to a refund & cancellation without penalty because I made a diligent effort to resolve all of this foolishness within 24hrs. We just want our money refunded & whatever service we signed up for cancelled immediately!!!!

    May2024-someone from signature pest management reached out to me at my door and convinced me to sign up for pest control services and I requested to onset service after I settle everything up with my previous vendor. I was told that there would be free onetime service at home so that I can evaluate their work before I make a decision to continue with them or not.Jul8,2024-someone suddenly showed up at home (without prior notice) and i denied the service as I was waiting termination of contract from previous vendor. I did not even had any free service till date. I neither received any email nor portal link to look at schedule nor any prior notice.I reached out to the customer care multiple times as I was charged 2 times without any service offered. No one cared to resolve the ******** I did not get any response after waiting for almost 2 months, I raised dispute of charges with my credit card company and got my money back.Nov7,2024-received a call from collections office saying that my case has been sent to collections and need to pay original amount + past due + collections fee.I am upset with how I was treated due to lack of transparency, lack of communication, charging fee irresponsibly (WITHOUT OFFERING SERVICES), not intimating me of late fee charges, sending to collections.I request the bureau to please consider the case and help me resolve the same. Typically, our agreements are for one or two years, and we currently do not offer free onetime services or month to month agreements. For reference, a copy of the agreement is usually sent to the provided email address within 1-2 days of sign-up;however, it may sometimes be directed to spam or junk folders, and we apologize if this caused any inconvenience.

    We are also sorry to hear that your experience with our customer service did not meet your expectations. Upon reviewing your account,we confirmed that it was closed without a cancellation fee. The outstanding balance on the account is due to disputes filed with your card issuer, which resulted in transaction reversals ($43.29 and $54.11) that prevented the funds from reaching us and led to the collections status.     I am rejecting this response because:

    1) I never received any email from signature pest management to ********************** about portal or schedules or anything of that sort. Please see attached screenshot, nothing shows up in my email search

    2) My sales agent did say that there would be free onetime service for me to evaluate their work (please see attached), whereas, the above message from business says no free treatment/service is being offered by them. This is a clear flaw/gap between policies.

    3) I ended up paying $110 yesterday to the debt collector. I am expecting a refund, again, as I was NEVER offered any service and I don't see a reason on why would I end up paying without getting services.

    They left my gate open and my dogs got out. They won't let me cancel due to a contract. They spend about 10 minutes at my house and leave. I would recommend finding a different pest control company.

    What the Business committed to provide ?- ************* for my home and the rate matching my previous Vendor ****** services which was 32.88$ per month which is $393.88 - It was supposed to be month on month service. The Signature Pest control came to my door and Salesman ************* ****) took my credit card for the monthly billing What happend?- The first service was charged more and I protested that I dont want this service multiple times if you cant match it and I was told it is month on month basis - After ***** service no one responds the phone The only contact I had was **** Salesman.I decided to cancel the service - After 3 months in August one more Gentleman shows up and sends the Pest control folks for servicing and charges me $39.99 - And then I start this conversation with this gentleman asking him to cancel my service multiple times ************ (Signature pest Management)- And this gentleman says on the *** its a 1 year agreement that has been signed. I protest saying I never signed any agreement.I get a contract by email after 3 months on August 14th they send me a Contract for 2 years which I never signed and terms and conditions I never was told and agreed on. I never signed any agreement and havent received any paper based mail or email communication.I sent an email again saying cancel my service and messaged them as well. I get a response that a Collection team will take money from you for cancelling the service and are asking for $372.29 What the nature of the dispute is?I have been messaged and called multiple times and the Signature Pest Management are warning me I have to face the Collections team and they will collect this money.I just want them to cancel the service and not extort the $372.29 dollar from me.Payments done:Apr-27: ******* me $43.29 August: ******* me at $39.99

    I hired this company once to spray my house and yard. I worked with a guy named ******* on 02/10/24 and his phone number is **************. He told me there wouldn't be any contract and I was supposed to pay them each time I called them to come. I asked him to not save my card information. My dad was visiting me at this time and he witnessed our conversation. They charged me twice for the first service on 02/14/24 which I realize too late. Then they charged me on March but refunded after I called them and stated I didn't request any services. They also charged me 04/11/24 and 07/12/24 without providing any services (the screenshot is attached). They never called me or rang my doorbell. After this I called my bank to stop payments and opened investigations on the charges. Today, on 10/07/24 I got a message stating they may send my payment is overdue and they may send it to collections. I gave them a call which they said they only do yearly plans which I didn't sign up for. Upon searching on our community ******** page I found another neighbor is going through the same thing. I attached a screen shot of this as well. If they don't refund everything I am owed and not cancel the contract they signed me up without my knowledge I plan to pursue this in court.

    According to our records, the agreement was signed and reduced to a one-year term, as discussed with our sales representative during your initial visit. At that time, the sales representative also contacted our office to arrange an additional two months of free billing for you as a goodwill gesture.


    Your service began in February, and our billing records indicate that payments were made for February and March. May and June were provided as the complimentary months. However, payments for July and August were disputed and refunded to your card, despite no formal reason for the dispute being communicated to us.


    In light of this, we are willing to close your account with no additional charges or cancellation fees for the remaining term of the agreement. We hope this resolution meets your expectations and brings closure to the matter.

    This company is a scam! I paid for a yearly contract with them; they came and sprayed the first time, didnt even spray the interior of the house because they forgot, I call and they come back out to spray the inside..fast forward a month later and the infestation of bugs is ridiculous..I call them and they mention oh we use chemicals that arent as strong so we will come back and use the stronger chemicals at your house..they do that and it helps a littlemeanwhile Im paying monthly for this service and I havent seen them or heard from them in 4 months and from my understanding they are supposed to spray every 3 months..I call to cancel and they want the remainder of the year cost..do not do business with company( they are a scam and will just take your money, not to mention when I first signed up I never got a copy of the contract or receipt; they do that so you dont know what youre getting into..steer far away from them; i will be contacting my attorney for paying for services not rendered and have him follow up with them..they cant keep treating everyone like this and getting away with it, Im not the only one they have done this to

According to our records, the technician returned on 5/18/24 to complete the interior service. We understand how frustrating it can be when pests persist despite treatments.
    Every home is unique, and we adjust our treatment plans accordingly. As part of our service, we offer unlimited re-treatments between quarterly visits at no additional cost to address any concerns. I see that on 6/22, you contacted our office regarding the lack of effectiveness, and a follow-up reservice was scheduled for 6/29. Additionally, your quarterly visit was completed on 7/9/24.

    On Dec. 14, 2023, two technicians showed up to my house to spray for a one time fee of $40. I signed what I thought was a receipt as no sales associate was present to explain what the services were. Shortly after, I discovered they were selling a year-long service that I had not agreed to. After calling to immediately cancel because I had not agreed to it, they, apparently set a $400 cancelation fee. According to an attached receipt, I paid this fee. They did not ever send me another notice. They then sent it to a collection agency.According to multiple Yelp reviews, this scam has happened to many people.

    We understand the importance of maintaining trust and satisfaction. Appears there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the length and terms of the agreement as we do not offer a one-time treatment. We offer the standard industry 2-year agreement and a minimum of 1-year agreements.

    Additionally, we have recently made significant enhancements to our agreement review and signing process. Our customers have the option to receive the agreement via email which allows for a more transparent and streamlined signing experience, providing customers with clear instructions and a secure environment for reviewing and signing agreements. With that in mind, our customers have always been able to login our customer portal to review or download a copy of their agreement at any time.

    In regard to the invoice showing as paid, it appears that while you initially made the payment, a dispute was later filed with your card issuing bank, resulting in the reversal of the transaction in the amount of $311.68. As a result, we did not receive the funds on our end which resulted in your collections. 
    If you believe this is an error, you will need to contact your card issuer and verify the funds were placed back into your account as ********************** was debited for this dispute back at the end of March. *** included the chargeback notification and copy of the executed agreement.

    I was tricked into trusting this horrid company in April 2024. ****** told me it would be nontoxic and ***** every 3 months, I didnt realize I was signing up for 2 years. As soon as I signed up, my debit card was used. Probably by ****** (to reload his cell phone). Since I canceled my debit card, they now cant charge me. So they are threatening collections & a 347.00$ fee. There are way more bugs than there were to begin with. So they dont spray anything that actually works. I saw ZERO IMPROVEMENT. Theres no way to post a review of course on this company anywhere but here. So Ill be contacting lawyers and the **** of agriculture if this bogus company tries to bother me again. Im a teacher and a single mom. Signature pest: you all should be ashamed of yourselves. Get it together!!!

    ****************** had a 1-year agreement not 2 years

    She called on 6/24 to advise her card was hacked and we advised her to notify her bank promptly. We advised that all we see on the system is the last 4 digits and advised cards can be hacked in many places so reach out to back ASAP .   She accused us of having tricky people and wanted to cancel out and still having bug issues.  Advised that the plan offers no cost reservices anytime you experience any issues - she still wanted to cancel so her account was sent to the retention department/ The retention department called her on 6/27.24  he left her a message and no response from her.  He also text her on 6/27   Text Message sent to ***********:
    Hey Steph, this is ***** in the retention department for Signature Pest. I just tried to call you about your account and working with you on that. I left a voicemail for you but you can reach me at ************.    She did not respond to the text message either.  

    He left a final voicemail on 7.9 .24 to work a resolution with her but again she did not return his call. They are advised on the final attempt that if they do not response with 24 hours this will go to collections. 

    We were more than willing to work with her, but she was very threatening about BBB, TDA and lawyers but did not return of any of our calls or text to work a resolution.  The last resort was collections

    Video playlist showing the tech did not perform outlines services on invoice.*********************************************************************************** -The eves were not treated and I still had active wasp nests in my eves. (Pictures attached)- My front and back yard was not treated with granules as described.- The mulched vegetative areas of my yard were not treated as described. - I only see that the employee sprayed liquid barrier around 3 sides of my home, and the side that is not treated happens to be where the kitchen and master bath are.I contacted the business through the web portal on April 17 2024 feedback message and then again by email on April 28 directly because of no response. I did not get a response so I filed a credit card dispute. They re-billed me for the pending amount of the dispute and I was able to get in touch with them via email on May 17. They are ignoring my complaint and continuing to try and collect the $107.17 as if nothing is wrong. I was not even offered apology even after linking them to all the videos showing their agent skip through the services they invoiced me for. They are threatening to send the balance to collections. The initial credit card dispute isn't even resolved yet. Instead of reviewing all the evidence and apologizing and refunding me for services not performed they are continuing trying to scam me, so I am exploring all avenues to expose this business for their poor actions and ensure they do not bill or collect on services they didn't even perform. Trying to get any rational response from them seems futile.

    Hi there, I dont want you to return to my property, your company violated my trust. Again, if you read my original email and the copy, I sent yesterday to you will see the issue isnt just missed nests, your tech showed up, sprayed 3 sides of my home and left, yet you charged me for a list of services I did not receive. I included a link to a ******* playlist with videos showing the entire visit from start to finish including where I answer the door and the back gate is unlocked.  Based on my evidence I did not receive the services you claim I did. You may bill me what is appropriate for spraying three sides of my house and leaving or nothing and we can end our business relationship in peace. Thank you ****

    The business claims I blocked them. I am requesting a simple refund for the services not rendered.     I am rejecting this response because:

    This issue is now over 3 months old. It took weeks to get a response from Signature Pest Management in the first place and there was zero acknowledgement or apology for the lack of service provided by the employee even when I sent detailed video evidence that services were not rendered. The person replying to my email just treated it as if they missed a few nests, and didn't acknowledge almost the entire service was skipped. As a business owner myself I would be embarrassed if my employee showed up and did a fraction of the thing they were supposed to and then billed the customer for services not rendered.

    I got ignored and when I asked for a refund when you did finally respond I was just ignored again. So since so much time passed, I already filed a dispute with Mastercard. The dispute is still actually ongoing. I called in and reopened it on 6/20/24 with all the detailed documented evidence, all the videos, communications, etc. If you are willing to refund me even partially I suggest you make that clear with your bank/dispute investigation team so that they can resolve it ASAP through the right channels. Unfortunately I think we are past the time now to resolve this directly since you took so long in replying to any of my communications. I understand you claim GoDaddy was blocking your emails and me replying STOP to your texts that were spamming me to pay you back for the dispute were somehow prevented you from helping me but that was not preventing you from refunding me.  You have had my phone number and email all this time and didn't use it to respond to me and offer me the refund sooner. You didn't even respond to this BBB complaint until after so much time elapsed that they said they were going to close it and **** it as ignored by the business.

    I acknowledge your interest in refunding me in an attempt to keep my business, but I have already moved on. Its been months. You broke my trust and I have already received proper pest control treatment elsewhere. If you let the dispute investigators know you're willing to credit me back it will probably wrap this up pretty quickly through the back end, and then we can all move on amicably.

    When we moved in, the salesman came the 2nd day we moved in. The salesman told us, it was ***** every 3 months but they would call before the appointment to make sure we wanted it than would charge us when they came out. They would spray every 3 months. And it was no contract! They came out and sprayed after the 1st charge. We haven't even been here 2 months and they already charged us again and they didn't come out. We called to see what mistake happened. They are saying we signed a 1 year contract when we absolutely did not. We read everything that day. The salesman completely lied to us.

    The customer signed the ****** agreement and provided a credit card for the monthly payments

    The agreement states a 1-year agreement with the ***** plus tax ***** monthly ******** for one year

    We treated the property and billed for the services.  Then the 1st month was billed, he called the office stating he wanted to cancel as only wanted a 1- time treatment. Per the agreement the one Initial is ****** and we discounted his initial to ***** plus tax for the 1-year commitment   We sent his account to the retention department They agreed to cut ties and he only pay for the initial service of *****. The first monthly billing on May 31st he disputed with the bank and that ***** was given back to him on his card therefore no refund is due as he already received back on this card.
