******** has done nothing as far as getting my money back I was hacked at a Target in ******* they told me nothing I can do to get my money back I do not live in **********************. I live in ****************** somehow somebody got my information and charged over $1,000 at Target and skylight NetSpend is doing nothing to help me I am an elder person and in financial difficulty I do not recommend this company to anybody they are pretty much a scam themselvesOuro

***, this company is horrible. Good luck trying to understand their contract. They make you download apps but don't tell you which one(s) you need, and the apps don't even work. Then, you have to download another app. and continue to give your private info to more different companies. I have already told my family to avoid them at all costs.Ouro

Netspend user for 3 years. Have had account hacked annually. Had to jump thru hoops to prove who I was while the guilty party is still out there. The latest and last straw was an $80.00 transfer. I was called and asked if this was my doing. I said no and spent the next 30 minutes verifying my information, resetting passwords etc. The *** said everything was perfect and my account would be back to normal in 2 hours. I checked my account the next morning and found not only was my money not reimbursed, the balance had been taken by the same guy. Then I got an email from Netspend telling me my balance was $0.00. I tried getting help from them but again, spent more time verifying myself and getting nowhere. I know I should have fought this to the end, but dealing with people that don't know what they're doing is exhausting and fruitless. I simply closed my account and chalked it up to making a very bad decision doing business with them.Ouro

Has held my 2000$ check for over 2 years and lies about mailing it. Have talked to them 31 times in 34 days and each time its a different story. Hiring attorney to collect my money back and they can pay him too.Ouro

I wish I had NEVER got involved in the first place. They've just gotten worse and worse over the years and with all the other options now days you'd think they would do better. Here is the saga of my final (because I'm tired of dealing with them) attempt at closing out the cards I don't use but pay $10 every month. I no longer use Netspend card. They take $10 monthly fee. Was fine when I was working. No longer working. Disabled. When I do get money I use different method. My balance on the card was 53 cents and 1 cent in a savings. I tried to close the card cause at this point I'm just paying them $10 a month for nothing. They have no method to go back to the Pay as you go method. Not even customer service is able to do that. **************** said they can't close it with a balance on the card. I tried to transfer the 54 cents to a different account per customer services suggestion. It won't do it cause you have to transfer at least $10. So they basically hold you hostage for the $10 and won't close the cards. If I EVER get out of Netspend I will NEVER go back even if I have to collect bottles or whatever. There are too many other methods to be stuck with these crooks.Ouro

I too had an account fraudulently opened in my name and a debit card sent to me. I cannot get through to a live person to deactivate the account and report the identity theft. The phone system reports that the account has been activated, so I know that the account, fraudulently acquired, is active and that my identity has been stolen. I have emailed but there appears to be no way to get either Netspend nor Ouro -- they are partners in this -- to take quick, if any, action. I have filed a police report, given that the companies knowingly facilitate this fraudulent activity. Many other people are reporting being the subject of the same fraud on Reddit and elsewhere online, including here, which suggests considerable negligence by Ouro and its partner Netspend.Ouro

They will NOT wave the fees the shows up on your account and you can't make the payment to your account because they're system is down.3 representative tried to blow smoke up my a** just to get rid of me. Try CHIME they have ATMs to do transactions instead of stores!!!Ouro
