      I purchased a new Non- Programmable HONEYWELL thermostat at ********** 3 weeks ago and my A/C man installed it. I set the thermostat at 77, it stays on for about 10 minutes cuts off and when I go to see why its not stay on and keeping the house cool. It drops down to 75, 74 degrees for about 10 or 15 minutes and cuts off and then you have to go and set it back to 77, next thing you know it has dropped down to 72 degrees. To me it seems like they are in "CAHOOTS", with these ENERGY COMPANIES. If the content on the outside of their 'PRODUCT SAYS NON PROGRAMMABLE" that is what the customers has chosen. But in reality, its already "Pre-programmed", so that you can use more energy that they and their allies want you to use for higher amounts of money on your electricity bill. That is not fair! Remove all HONEYWELL HOME THERMOSTATS! and remodify these so called Non-Programmable thermostats. Because you "RESIDEO" are LYING!! - They are all ready PRE-PROGRAMMED to make us pay more money on our energy bill. Honeywell Home is the brand name on the box. Resideo Technologies, Inc.is the company that makes them. I'm so disappointed!! - High grocery bills, they are helping energy companies to get more out of us, down-sizing of products in grocery stores. We get very little with hundreds of dollars we spend on groceries.Sincerely,*****************

      I have a honeywell redlink system. Today I had my heat pump replaced and during that process the tech said he needed to reset the system to add new sensors. Not long after they left I pulled up the app and apparently my device or account were no longer linked. On my phone, I got a blank page, through the web-portal it showed my mac address, but advised a thermostat was not installed. I reached out to the chat support team and got someone that didn't have a clue what they were doing. They asked me the same questions multiple times and ultimately ended my chat session leaving my device offline. This would have been avoided if the company that installed the new system did their job thoroughly, but ********* has now dropped the ball by not proving enough support for me to self service this issue.

      I bought a Resideo Honeywell wi-fi programmable thermostat because its advertising represented that it could be controlled orally through ****** I have called numerous times and spent an unreasonable amount of time with tech support trying to get that accomplished. Ultimately the tech support people say the problem is Amazon's fault. Amazon, however, has its own voice -connected -to-Alexa thermostat. They can provide no help. Since ******* made the as-of-now false representation about Alexa *********** it is their responsibility.

      I purchased a Honeywell (Resideo) Wifi Color Touchscreen Thermostat model RTH9585WF1004 on 11/24/2022. I attempted to install it on 12/31/2022. While installing the thermostat wires one of the plastic pieces that has to be depressed broke. I contacted support on 1/4/2023. They told me the wallplate is not sold separately and I would need to look for a spare wallplate for the same model number at an HVAC store. I tried to explain that the plastic tab had to be defective since it should not break when depressed. *********************** continued to tell me this is not a warranty claim.I have tried to contact HVAC stores and they do not have the wallplate separate. They told me to contact the manufacturer. Which i already tried but did not have any success. How can a company not warranty an item that is les than 1 month old and has a 1 year warranty on it. The tabs are designed to be depressed and they should not break while being depressed.

      Contacted customer service to get an updated thermostat Honeywell RTH9580WF1005/U1 due to this one going out within a year of service. Only had the thermostat 9 months operating in home. Was denied any assistance because I DID NOT HAVE A RECEIPT. I continued to request assistance because I knew about the one year manufacture warranty program. I just would like it replaced before I spend money on a new system. I am willing to send the orginial one back in box bought in. I was told I did not have a record outside of the serial number on the box I would need to take device back to the store. I reached out to the store returns are only *********************************** product for the RTH9580WF1005/U1. We are in the start of winter and no one expects this kind of break down and the company that sold you the product wont even help you with a replacement.

      I have a Honeywell WiFi Thermostat to monitor the temp. at my house when I am away. For years the *** worked great with no hiccups. Then Resideo somehow got involved with the *** and now the *** is down several times each month. This is starting to become a constant headache, and when I call "customer service", they tell me to reinstall the *** which I have done several times, then they say I have to be at home before they can fix the issue. That defeats the entire purpose of have a WiFi thermostat if I cant leave my home.

      Resideo's thermostat app IS NO LONGER FUNCTIONABLE. When it was Honeywell, it worked marginally well. Since the change to Resideo, the thermostat app constantly drops connection to my thermostat and IS ALWAYS HARASSING me to enable a schedule and geofencing - two features that I AM NOT INTERESTED IN UTILIZING. Their careless online response has been to instruct me to enable ALL PERMISSIONS. I REFUSED TO ENABLE/GRANT PERMISSION TO RESIDEO TO ACCESS MY CAMERA, PHONE, CONTACTS, GALLERY AND LOCATION. RESIDEO IS A COMPANY THAT ****I DO NOT TRUST****. All Resideo has managed to accomplish is to MAKE ME WANT TO BUY A DIFFERENT THERMOSTAT!

      On or about 11/10/2021 I purchased a brand new Resideo (Honeywell) LCP-500 Lyric Home Security Controller.The warranty is for 24 months.The unit stopped working so I called Resideo (Honeywell) and was told they dont accept returns, that I must return it to the store it was purchased.The store it was purchased from states they dont accept returns after ********************** to return the item to Resideo.Why have a warranty if the company that manufactured an item wont honor it?Reading BBB complaints about this company clearly shows my predicament is not isolated.Maybe BBB can facilitate getting Resideo (Honeywell) to end its deceptive, worthless warranty obligations. Customers rely on a business warranties in their decision to purchase an item and if the warranty is worthless and not honored, without doubt such conduct is deceptive.
