      There is a fundamental problem with this card service. There automated system is inaccurate by stating that the card is supposed to take 5 to 10 calendar days as it is specified a in there automated service, yet the customer service representatives do not know and specifically to the contrary stating that it takes 5 to 10 business days which is an inaccurate statement. This card is vital for someone who needs their Social Security income in order to be able to sustain a productive lifestyle. The unprofessionalism is the specific reason why the other reviews of this business is so poor. The wait time for this customer service is out of order. It took me almost 1 hour to speak to someone in order to find out where my card was and eventually I spoke to someone; after speaking to someone else, after speaking to someone else. when I was through speaking with the customer service Manager, I was then told that they would not wave the fee for expedition. This in some ways looks like fraud in order to get you to pay a fee whether or not it was fault of your own in receiving this card. There needs to be some accountability for the actions of these businesses when it comes to customer care. On top of the outrageous $13 fee that I was charged in order to receive this card expediently I was also charged another four dollars in order to receive my card that in my opinion was held for ******. ????????

      The business is very slow, and the representatives always take too long. They inactivated my card without consent and they made me bounce from one representative to another and it annoys me because they always take too long to respond to a call that is very urgent.

      I had my card ripped out of my hand and my wallet stolen. Direct Express ************** did a great job at getting me my money back. It took some work, but at the end of the day, I can move on from being robbed. Thanks Direct Express!

      The customer service ***resentative was very rude. I am hard of hearing and visually impared. The *** wanted to disconnect the call because my daughter was reading me the numbers. She told me that I could not have anyone helping me even after I told her my daughter was helping me.

      super angry! they issued me a new card as they were phasing out the cards beginning with 5115. I paid for the expedited new card and they put the balance owing on it. so the new card has a negative balance of 13 dollars. fast forward to my pending deposit notice.. fundsnwere recieved and my balance would be available 4/3/05 on card 5115 ffs. so now, there's no funds on either card. customer service is a nightmare! so unproffessional and downright rude! *** hires? so now my bills are all due and I've spent a total of 220 mins on hold, only to be hung up on, treated like garbage and argued with. I still have not been able to speak to anybody with any knowledge and I have bills to pay! Who is going to help me? get your act together.

      I've been with direct express for several years.never had a problem until recently.i filed for another bank card due to mine having suspicious activity on it.well I paid almost 20 bucks to get the new card.ever since I got it.the direct express company has flat refused to activate ***** I never received my government benefits for February or ******** I've gotten an eviction notice for past rent and I'm way behind on other bills.ive reached out to these people several times and have done all they have asked me to do.which it's still not resolved.i do not recommend anyone to use this company you'll end up regretting it.

      Rude and unprofessional direct express customer service representatives. Hello can you please listen to my two calls from 2/4/25 both representatives were extremely rude and disrespectful. I am elderly 79 year old with a disability so after waiting on hold for over one hour to have them hang up in my face was very unprofessional.

      I am a victim of fraud and Im starting to wonder now if it was someone at the direct express where I receive my Social Security I ama disabled Social Security member and I never been to any *********** or any ***** or any of those places I had $300 stolen from my car used it and I dont know who win and where Ive also had $261 stole from my card plus $1.99 now they agreed to thedollar 99 and all of these events took place at the same area Now they took back $561 from me direct express so now Im wondering if its someone at the direct express I went to the police filed a police report why would I go and follow the police report when I know that I could be in trouble for fault myself I never didthis. I never been to *****. Would love to go, but Ive never been in. Cant afford it. Never ****** online. Dont use any casinos Ive never been to somewhere where my carwas taken for T-Mobile now what is going on? Somebody is defaulting me at the department of direct express.

      Give me a ***** and the middle initial A, throw in a ******** and a ******. Whats that spell? Oh yes, *****/A/********/******, one the top dogs ripping off poverty stricken social security recipients. Utter incompetence doesnt scratch the surface, take racist in charge - the one and only, Silly *****/C/******* and her constant projecting of frustation on customers. It is unacceptable that Us **************** is DENYING social security recipients their money. ELON - FIRE THESE DO NOTHING DEI HIRES

      Direct express did me and my kids so wrong I actually been to the er for having a headache for three days went into a depression stage,,I called direct express to reach out about a online purchase I wasn't able to make the lady asked for my social security number I gave her the correct one and she tells me it's not my number and transfers me to fraud department for no reason I had been spending money until i called and asked a simple question when I got rudly cut off and transferred, waiting 4 hiuts on the phone for no one to answer then its gets worse ,I try to buy my kids food and the card wouldn't work after it was working just fine the lady made my card not work and then I was one step ahead went ahead and sent them a copy of my ca state identification card front and back and my social security card ,they denied it, they denied the same photo copies I send to get verified all the other times and it was accepted but not this time they kept telling me the same stuff send it in and I sent it a total of 7 times still to this day me and my children are struggling to get by because at thus point they're rude to me and won't help me at all ,,they said my id is expired which is a bunch of bull my id is clear u can read it perfectly it expires 2028 ,,,so I still can't use my card my pge got shut off I had to sale my kids dad's (he passed away) belongings just a a few of them so we could get our lights turned back on ,,,,direct express customer service and fraud department are garbage they're are other ways they can verify me even tho I've done every thing they said correctly and still im suffering can't use my card its the worst company that ever existed I don't recommend them to no one they take 3 hours at least to get on the phone to not help one bit useless I couldn't get appointment at social security office no sooner that 26th of this month been going to food giveaways its really sad if u ask me ,,,,it should be illegal they are no good
